A 3 RBI double by Apollo’s John Robbins busted things open for the Eagles, on their way to a 6-run second inning. Robbins finished 1-3 with those 3 RBI, while Zach Hopewell recorded a 3-4 day at the plate, scoring 2 runs and driving in 1. Josh Owens threw all 7 innings for Apollo. Ray Zuberer, Jacob Mulcahy, and Luke Hayden all had 2 hits for the Aces.

Corbin 4, South Laurel 0
Noah Taylor led the Corbin charge, going 2-3 and driving in a run in their Tuesday night victory. Cole Brock added the only other hit for the Redhounds by finishing 1-2 with a run scored. All 4 of Corbin’s runs were unearned. Michael May threw a complete-game shutout, finishing with 5 strikeouts and only allowing 4 hits. Braden Miller went 2-3 for the Cardinals.

Kyle Gammon, Brody Shoupe, and Isaiah Greene led Greenup County with 2 hits apiece, combining for 6 runs and 3 RBI. Gage Hughes also had a triple, finishing with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Tristan Downing got the win for Musketeers. Landon Adams and Hunter Lacks each had 2 hits for Raceland.

University Heights 10, Hopkinsville 8
Trey Miles went 3-5 with 2 RBI for University Heights in their win over Hopkinsville. Preston Milburn added 2 hits for the Blazers, while Drew McGowan went 2-5 with an RBI and 3 runs scored. McGowan also got the win for University Heights, throwing 7 innings, allowing 6 runs, but striking out 13. Duncan Smith, Tyler Graham, and Teagan Denny all had 2 hits for the Tigers.

Bo Bennington went 3-3 for the Knights, scoring a run and driving one in. Steven Bender and Landon Moberly each added a hit and an RBI of their own, as well. Although Carson Coleman got the start for Lexington Catholic, Trip Lockhart got the win with his 1.1 innings of relief. Lockhart allowing 1 hit and recorded 1 strikeout.

Campbell County 11, Calvary Christian 1
The Camels received significant contributions from nearly everyone in their starting lineup, as 8 or their 9 starters recorded at least a hit, a run, or an RBI. Ethan Kremer finished 3-4 with 2 RBI and Colton Hartig went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Austin Hoeh threw all 6 innings for Campbell County and tallied 8 strikeouts, while only allowing 2 hits.

McCracken County 7, Paducah-Tilghman 1
Ian Walters, Trent Shelby, Reid Pope, and Cameron Langston all had 2 hits for the Mustangs in their Tuesday night victory over crosstown rival, Paducah-Tilghman. Derek Schneider added 3 RBI and Luke Seed got the win, allowing only 3 hits in 6 innings, while striking out 9.

Eight of Middlesboro’s nine starters tallied exactly 1 hit in the game, while runs were scored by Tyler McCullough, Matthew Mike, and Brennan Hale. Jacob Mike and Daniel Webb each recorded an RBI for the Yellow Jackets. McCullough also got the win on the mound, striking out 11 and allowing only 2 hits and 2 runs. Dylan Cornett had a hit and a run for Harlan County.

Tyler Estes led the Wildcats’ offensive charge, going 3-5 with a triple, a home run, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored on the night. Riley Stallons also added 2 hits, 2 runs, and an RBI of his own. Tyler Allen got the win for Trigg County, striking out 14 hitters in his 7 innings of work, allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits. Drake Oliver earned the save.

Logan County 4, Franklin-Simpson 3
Austin Rayno, Michael Riley, and Bradley Taylor recorded 7 of Logan County’s 10 hits, as well as 3 RBI of their 4 runs scored. Rayno scored a run and had 2 RBI, while Taylor drove in a run of his own. Ethan Smock got the win for the Cougars. Seth Johnson went 2-4 with 2 RBI for Franklin-Simpson in the loss.

Ethan Wilson, Logan Haga, and Jackson Gooding all had 3 hits and combined for 6 runs and 6 RBI for Bowling Green. Luke Brown added 2 hits, 2 runs, and an RBI of his own. Stuart Posey got the win, striking out 11 in only 5 innings of action.
