I had water from my upstairs shower leaking through the ceiling of my kitchen. I called and was able to have a person come to my house within 4 hours of my original call. They did an amazing job and were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the leak and provided me with some great advice on regular maintenance. Anyone looking for plumbing/HVAC needs to use MSP plumbing!

We had Bo come out and he was amazing! He helped us with numerous issues we had and gave us honest feedback. He explained everything and how the items worked so we could make the proper decision.Also my animals loved him, which is always a good sign!

A very old radiator was leaking and they installed new valve. They also found a leak in our boiler system and repaired that as well. They did a great job especially with our old pipes.

It has been quite the process with our AC - but MSP has been helpful and persistent with figuring out the issue. In the end, they were able to resolve the issue with very minimum cost!

Thomas was very efficient in determining the source of a leak in my water heater and repairing it. The cause of the leak was clearly explained to me along with the necessary repair.

This service was to give the system a check. Service person was very professional and friendly. I was happy with the furnace that was installed a little over a year ago, so had no issues.I have had MSPP for the installation and other work and am always very happy with the people who do the work.

we had msp plumbing and heating install a new central air conditioner and water heater several months ago. top rate experience. part of our package was a free hvac equipment check-up and they reached out to us on their own regarding this perk. they scheduled the check up for our 15 year old furnace which they performed yesterday. another great experience. the technician was fast and friendly and explained what the service had entailed. they recommended a cleaning and part replacement and left estimates for both. there was no pressure to commit to anything further.

Our water heater started leaking yesterday afternoon, and I called a few places to find a technician to come take a look. MSP had an appointment scheduled for this morning within minutes of my call. Our technician was amazing--he walked us through everything, explained some of the overly-complicated St. Paul permitting requirements, and helped us schedule an HVAC tech to address some issues with our boiler. Fast, clean, great work. We will be using this company again!

It was quick and easy to arrange an appointment---I submitted a request online that was quickly followed up on and confirmed via phone. On the day-of, I received a reminder text and phone call to notify me when their employee was ~30 min away. The text also included the name and photo of the employee who would be assisting me. Sam helped me out with fixing a valve problem on my sink, and was friendly, professional, and efficient. He was up-front about the cost and was transparent with my options. Very happy with the service overall!

Bo was wonderful to work with- he did a fantastic job of explaining the issue we were having with our sink! He really went above and beyond, walked through each pipe and valve in the home, and discussed future maintenance we might want to look at outside of the repair that was made today. They made what could have been a very stressful situation easy to understand and helped us get all of the information we needed to make an educated decision. Will absolutely go to them for any future needs!

This is almost a every year and half for us because my wife use a wheelchair transfer it ruff on the toilet so every now and then she breaks the toilet bolt so it always need replacement along with toilet gasget it al a good idea for everyone to replace there gasget to maintain your toilet from backing up there nothing like the sound of a flush when you only got one bathroom and one toilet thank you msp plumbing that why we call you first. We were pleased with MSP's estimating process, pricing and how easy it was to get on their calendar to replace a broken pipe. However, we were disappointed when their crew buried our quality, organic topsoil with the pipe and left our front garden covered in clay. I would have appreciated if the crew had taken a moment to check in with us on the status of the project and/or before leaving, and if they had paused to ensure our yard was put back together as best as it could have been.

Peter was professional. He installed new water line for refrigerator and redid the pipes under the sink from two drains down to one.
Update: the attached video for the drain you installed. It’s done this on and off for about 3 months.

I called about a kitchen sink that wasn't draining. The man they sent out told be it would be 1200 dollars to clean the line! I had another plumber come look at it and he got my sink draining for 150 bucks. I've cancelled my membership with them.

Great experience! Jeff was professional, thorough and personable. He explained what the issue was and how he fixed the issue. A lot better than Hero who came out a couple of weeks ago who did not resolve the issue and took advantage of us. MSP is highly recommended!

Last year I had a both my furnace and AC replaced by Minneapolis St Paul and they did a great job. I would recommend themPart of the cost of the replacement included an annual checkup. Nick T came out and I was very impressed even more than with the install which was also great. He quickly checked the furnace and it was all I was expecting. He then spent the time to further guide me on the use of the system, all which I thought I knew most everything about. He made sure the controller software was up to date and when he found out it was not he completed the updates showing me how to do everything step by step.I appreciated all the extra service, when all I was expecting is a quick stop saying everything looks good.----------------------------------------------------------------7/15/2014 - Plumbing InspectionWhile calling in to schedule my AC inspection they mentioned I had a free plumbing inspection to use. Since I am new to the house and its been around the block already I thought it might be worth it. I did have some concerns and questions I could also ask.John H. came out and was very friendly and real. He spent over 1.5 hours reviewing everything plumbing related in the house and found some small areas of concern and some maintenance that will need to be done in the near future. He explained all the options and left it up to me to decide what to do next. It was a good experience.

Services techs have all been pleasant each time we have used them. They arrive on time, often early within the time interval, and are efficient.

Really helpful with a burst pipe. Great and knowledgeable tech. Found an old issue and helped us fix it without pressure to use them (suggested reaching out to OG workers). Would certainly recommend.

Braeden was very knowledgeable regarding our 70 year old boiler system. As transplants from Phoenix, we had no clue how to turn on or maintain our water boiler. Braden was helpful in getting us set for the cold weather and happy to share his expertise with us.

David arrived on time. Very though and detailed oriented. He explained all inspections and procedures and what was discovered in both systems. I am very confident in the disclosure. I Would highly recommend David and MSP.

Responded to an air conditioner problem on a very hot day. Professional, courtesy and knowledgeable.

Our furnace failed as we faced the coldest few days in the last 25 years. From the beginning contact this company's personnel was helpful and understanding. We saw a technician in about 3 hours (Ken) who detailed our difficulties and tried to help us get a new furnace ASAP. He left space heaters and said with our fireplaces, we should be okay till the furnace arrived in about 36 hours. Our installer Chad was prompt and efficient and explained what he was doing and why we'd need an electrician to finish the job. However our new furnace was up and running in less than 3 hours using our old thermostat. Chad was thoughtful, careful and very complete in his explanations and cleanup. We had a very satisfactory experience with this company!

If he didn’t know the answer, he made sure to contact a knowledgeable associate that could answer the questions appropriately.Definitely want him to return for my next appointment. My furnace died and they called quickly and set up an appointment that same day. I had gotten quotes for similar furnaces from another company scratched out on a carbon copy bill. MSP had this great brochure with all kinds of detail about the different furnaces and options. It was a very helpful way to compare the different models. I made a selection and they were at our home bright and early the next morning and we had heat by the end of the day. Sales people and installers called and doubled checked meeting times and schedules and were very courteous and helpful. Price was great and they did a top quality job. I couldn't be happier.

Brian A came out to diagnose AC leak issues through my furnace/AC unit. He was great to work with, fixed a few immediate needs, and answered lot of questions I had. Beyond the immediate repairs, he walked me through some additional maintenance steps to help out in the future and understood us working within with our budget. Some of the service recommendation price estimates were higher than I initially expected, but overall a very positive experience with Brian and his work.

I’ve been struggling to find a company to come out and fix my garage heater (Mr. Heat Big Maxx). There was an issue that I could not diagnose. I contacted the company that manufactures the heater and they sent my a replacement motherboard. Lacking the skill set and confidence to do it myself, I reached out to MSP and they sent Jake over. The company contacted me multiple times to ensure they knew what was needed and so they could send someone with experience to complete the job. This was not something they typically worked on, which is the response I got from a few companies. Nonetheless, MSP accepted the job and I could not be more grateful. Jake fixed everything very quickly and professionally. In my experience and given the season, these repairs can get very expensive. MSP’s prices were beyond reasonable and I was at the point that I would have paid double what was charged. I will be using MSP for any future issues. Cannot recommend them enough!

Tom recommended a replacement product for our broker garbage disposal and promptly got it done and fixed a leak as well. Super professional and super quick

Josh was patient and thorough. We had an issue of our brand new ac not working. After a couple hours he finally found the issue and determined a possible solution. He was able to come today and fix the issue that was caused by manufacturing. He answered all of our questions and concerns. A very nice guy with a hard work ethic.

Zach with MSP was really great! He was patient with us, and when issues came up requiring the gas provider to get involved, he kept a great attitude about it. The price of the service was reasonable, and included additional advice and knowledge from Zach. MSP was able to respond the same day to an issue most providers have been saying will take up to a week, and to resolve the issue with our furnace in a matter of hours.

I had Heater and Air Conditioner replaced. Installation went great. Andy was on time and worked efficiently. Was done when they said he would be. He was very informative and pleasant.

Explained everything and did not pressure us to make repairs that were not critical. Took time to “research” a plumbing issue for us and gave us options. Very friendly and professional. Cleaned up area when done. Very pleased with the work done.

Nick.Z was amazing I cannot thank him enough for helping deal with PVC pipe from the wall bursting at the water shut off valve to the toilet! What a nightmare! He came quickly and resolved a very awful setup and created a metal fitting to prevent recurrence. Also, gave me an amazing pointer to fix my fridge water/ice, and it worked! Huge THANK YOU and I hope you get a bonus from this! :)

I so wish I could give these guys a better review. Our tech Matt last fall was super friendly and helpful. We were impressed enough that we ended up purchasing an annual tuneup plan with the company - something we rarely do!2.5 months ago I booked a boiler and (separate) water heater tuneup more than a month in advance, in anticipation of the fall/winter rush the company would likely experience.Since then, I have had three appointments canceled (one of which was a re-book after it was canceled the first time) either immediately before the appointment time, or a few hours after it was supposed to have started.For each of these three appointments I took work off for the day. As many of you reading this will understand, that’s a hard thing to do with a newborn and a more than full-time job.Now I cannot get anyone to respond to me about rebooking further appointments, so months later, I guess I’m stuck either finding a different company or doing the work myself.I know the labor shortage is real right now. I run a small business myself. I treat things like this with a higher than typical amount of grace due to the circ*mstances. But I think it’s fair to feel a little frustrated that I paid for a service plan, booked appointments months in advance, had those canceled hours after the appointment start time, and still don’t have any work done.It looks like the company is active in responding to these so I anticipate hearing from them, but in the meantime I hope everyone else has a better experience with them than we did!

Had a great repair experience by Nick fixing and removing an old valve from our gas line. He was helpful and friendly and quick, highly recommended!

Bo showed up on time and was so patient with all of my questions. I gave him a list of my concerns and he addressed each one. I am so impressed with his professionalism and the responsiveness of the company. I HIGHLY recommend using them for any concern.

Not only did Nick resolve the leak in my outdoor spigot, but he was able to save the quaint bunny handle by replacing a gasket instead of the whole thing. He helped me to find the shut off valve for the spigot, which did need to be replaced, and he showed me how to winterize. Nick took the time to talk through some different strategies for updating the overall plumbing in my house, and I feel confident and informed in what my options are. I loved seeing that he investigates fully before starting in on a project and I would absolutely trust him to come back for my next projects.

Scheduled a water heater inspection. I got that and a detailed inspection of my plumbing, identifying issues for me to keep an eye on. Great service.

Tom arrived to my property on time, very professional and informative. We had no water running in the complex he replaced a valve and began taking out the old galvanized pipes as there was still no water running only to realize that was not the problem it was a different valve in which he replaced. Water is running great now. Price was pretty high but he did a good job in a very timely matter.

Everyone I dealt with was fantastic. Nick presented us with all the options for a new boiler without pushing one over another. We ended up getting a great system. Josh and the team that came to install the system - and the team that did abatement - were all great. Prompt, very friendly, happy in their work. Josh said that MSP takes care of them so they’re happy to take care of us and want to do a good job. And we’re very happy with the system and with follow-up. Highly recommended.

Joe did a thorough job checking each part of our furnace, cleaned it, labeled everything and gave us a short term and long term needs assessment. He was friendly and explained thing in layman's terms. The services came to $8.95 with the monthly plan! We now have a piece of mind and not wondering what is going on with our furnace.

The water in the toilet wouldn't stop running so I had to turn off the water in the entire house. I called MSP and they sent a plumber, Nick, right away to repair the problem. I have always received fabulous customer service and I'll never go anywhere else for problems with plumbing, heating or A/C work. Thanks!

We had Brian out today for drainage-related issues, and he was fantastic. Very smart and straight-forward guy. I've been a monthly member of the MSP program since last fall. Everyone who has come by has been professional and knowledgeable. Nobody has tried to upsell me, they've given great advice and made sure everything is in working order. I was also impressed that they proactively called me to schedule a tune up which was 'free' with my monthly membership. Overall highly recommend so far.

Jonathan came when we saw water leaking from a downstairs bath, but couldn’t tell where. Jonathan referred us to water mitigation and got them to come the same day! Very happy with Jonathan!

We had Nick out to repair a constantly filling toilet, a loose kitchen faucet, and a leaking vintage shower handle. It was a great experience - Nick was timely, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything you’d look for with a service call. Even though he had no idea what was waiting for him, he was able to make all the repairs in the spot and helped us weigh the costs/benefits of different approaches. The best part was the value he placed with the quality of our vintage hardware and keeping them in good running order as part of the esthetic of the house. Would absolutely request Nick for future calls and would recommend him for anyone considering a great plumber.

Update 7/10/2023: After MSP came out to fix our AC unit we found that the unit used a refrigerant no longer used and was 25 years old and, once needing a recharge, would be no longer usable.MSP gave us great options to maximize rebates and get the best unit for our home and budget. Andy was out to do the install with another technician and an electrician. They were friendly, courteous and capable. They did a great job, let us know what was done, answered all our questions and gave us yet another all around great experience.We for sure will be using MSP again, especially in a few years when we are ready to do the furnace as well.Extra special shout out to Andy, beyond being just a great guy there was some miscommunication where the rep I spoke with on the phone confirmed we could pay by check or card but Andy's notes said check. Not having one as we were expecting to pay by card, Andy was able to make the call to process the card transaction for us based on our conversation with Jeff.We cannot recommend MSP enough and will certainly be singing their praises to everyone we can!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Review: MSP has been there for us when desperately needed, once when our furnace stored working in the middle of January and again now when our AC suddenly stopped. Well done. I had an air conditioner put in Sep 26th 2022. On 8/10/23 had a water heater replaced.

Service tech looked over my reverse osmosis water system , my hot water heater and water softener. He gave me good honest advice and no additional work was required at this time. I may do some of the work he suggested in the future and have his company complete it.

Matt was on time, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a great company for Mini-Split AC units. Matt finally diagnosed our problem and is having installation come out to fix the problem.

These people are thieves. DO NOT Hire them for any work. I never write reviews...but I had to. I had a quote for a few plumbing issues. Some non standard flex tubing and a double trap under my sink. They want nearly $2000 to replace these with standard pipes. They would not give me a labor/ Parts breakdown. I think they wanted nearly $1000 an hour!!!!**Update** I had mike’s plumbing plus out to do the work he spent 1-2 hours to complete all the work needed, charged me $220.

Very impressed with Drew and MSP. Our furnace stopped working suddenly in the evening and we needed it fix ASAP. Drew was able to come out as soon as he was able. He was friendly, efficient, and honest — he also was able to identify and fix the issue right away. He was also tremendously helpful explaining what had happened and was honest about diagnosing the problem and potential future problems. We have used MSP in the past because they have always had wonderful workers who are respectful and knowledgeable. Drew himself was fantastic! Highly recommend MSP and Drew for the great service and better results.

Very pleased with the service. Our water heater broke down this morning and by noon MSP had come out and installed a new one. Very quick, professional and clean. Could not tell they had been there. The price was in line with other quotes from Werner Stallion and Home Depot. One nicety was they had the new heater on hand and same brand as others without myself having to shop for it. They do it all for you. We will be back.

Heather fit us in the same day we called. Drew came out and explained everything he was doing step by step and even gave me a few additional tips. The heating company that came out earlier that morning told me I needed a part that would cost over $1,500. MSP was very honest and told me it was just a dirty filter. He stayed to make sure everything was working properly. I would highly recommend MSP and Drew. Amazing service and honest.

Nick Goer installed a new water heater as well as two replacement chargers in our two bathrooms. He was professional, friendly, respectful of property, listened carefully, offered pertinent information and recommendations, and made sure work areas were clean before leaving. This event was an emergency for us and although the service was expensive, we were pleased that this company could accommodate our urgent needs efficiently and smoothly. Jason was terrific. We needed to replace a toilet in our 100+ year old house. He quickly determined exactly what was required, provided an estimate and walked us through the process. Here for maintenance. Had to replace anode rod and was honest and knowledgable regarding whether to replace immediately or if can wait. Always high quality from this business. I recommend the maintenance plan for items installed by them.

Tom explained everything about the repairs and told me about maintenance plan. Very personable. Window of arrival 8-10, here at 8! Explained to receptionist I had just had surgery and may be slow to get door, all noted on job, touched they cared!!

MSP is great! And their prices reflect it ;)I have the monthly maintenance membership (paid monthly - for semi-annual visits), and Jason came out to inspect my Furnace and A/C unit today. He was very friendly (most of the techs they have sent out are!), and clearly an expert in his field, and was happy to share his knowledge with me as he inspected the units, and found some problems here and there. He even fixed a wiring issue for me after the A/C condenser failed to turn on. The monthly maintenance program is totally worth it. They've frequently pointed out things other technicians have done wrong that the inspector should have caught.The only down side is that I have tended to find their prices on the high side, and so I haven't ended up having them do much work outside of the maintenance visits. But they are not pushy with their sales at all. They give me a list of things they recommend fixing or replacing, and are perfectly fine with me saying I need to do some research, or decide whether it's something I want to tackle myself, etc.The bottom line is, I definitely trust these technicians, even if I don't have the money to hire them ;)

Tony Johnson is such a nice guy!!! He did an amazing job inspecting my furnace and finding it needed a new part. He was so polite and explained everything super well. 10/10 he was great! He even cared about my floors cleansliness and wore boot covers!

I had an absolutely horrible experience trying to get my home warranty company to replace my furnace after it went out in freezing temperatures in March. Mitch spent hours on the phone with the warranty company. He went so out of his way to help me and provided amazing customer service. Got a quote to change the washers on my sink and tub. $1,000 was the quote.Seriously?The quoting process feels like a scam.Update: I called and and I was explained that they only offer fixed pricing, with reasons such as they might need to pull a permit for the job. So, $1000 price stands. Not sure why they had me call.

First time home owner, called in for a drainage issue because my basem*nt drain was backed up. Was told that they would send someone to look at my problem later in the day. A guy name Roy who is supposedly a manager showed up about a hour later, which was to my surprise. Roy literally did a 2-3 min inspection and said that he would need to replace my drainage for $1,400 but said he would cut me a break and do it for $1,200 because i'm a first time home owner and young (25). He stated that I would need to pay upfront and someone will come by tomorrow. All this sound super fishy to me and seem like Roy was trying to pull a fast one on me. Told him I would have another plumber to get a second opinion and he said that's fine and that he would charge me a $75 inspection fee. I'm like that's fine. He looked upset and said he'll give me a call at the end of the day to get my final answer but he never called me back or charged me that inspection fee. I'm ashamed that MSP has someone like ROY trying to exploit young inexperience homeowners, especially when he's a manager too. Would never use this service again. I had a different plumber came the next day to fix the basem*nt clogged for $400 and advise me the basic maintenance I needed to do avoid this issue.

A very nice technician came to my home, I felt very confident about possibly using this contractor. Bid was emailed with disclaimer stating its validity and all inclusive specs. I reached out to the tech with a question regarding bottom line price and he replied that I should check my email for a second email with a screenshot of where that info is located. Upon checking, dollar amounts were almost double of what my bid reflected. I assumed it was merely an example. When I inquired about the pricing discrepancy, he told me that was my bid, the first was incorrect. No disclaimer in the email and no statement that the initial bid should be disregarded within that second email. I spoke with the owner and he informed me that I was trying to scam them for the better bid. Really? Needless to say, they made my mind up for me as to which company NOT to choose.

Tom was great. He was super friendly and did a very thorough job. He was great at explaining everything to me so I really understood the situation. As always, I appreciate everything MSP does for us.

Came out to do yearly maintenance on water heater and softener. Peter was thorough, friendly and professional, and explained in great detail what was working well - and what needed attention. He laid out various remedies, associated costs, and did so with zero pressure to buy or upgrade.Could not have been more pleased. To note, MSP did install an HVAC system to our townhome last year and we were thrilled (and continue to be) with the equipment and how our home is running. These guys may not be the cheapest in town, but they are the best!

Our basem*nt flooded and we had Bo from MSP on sight to do a diagnostic evaluation of the cause, a request from our insurance company. Bo was very patient, polite and professional. He gave us a detailed evaluation of the cause and explained and offered remedies. We had trust and confidence in his service.

MSP was able to get a technician out the same day the issue was reported which was extremely convenient and led to a fast fix of my issue. Bo was very helpful during the installation of a new disposal system and was able to get it installed very quickly. His tips and advice were very helpful to a first time home buyer such as myself who does not know anything about plumbing.

I had a energy efficient water heater installed that was supposed to be a smaller 38 gallon tank that was going to heat the water faster, it needed a whole separate outlet in order to install so i payed extra 500 to install an outlet next to the water heater after a a year it went out. Then for the warranty they said they dont make them anymore and that they'll replace it with a conventional 80 gallon tank which was significantly cheaper than my original expensive tank. They didn't cover the difference.

Our furnace stopped working in below zero weather. Zach from MSP was there in under an hour, replaced the bad sensor, and had the furnace running again quickly. Awesome experience. Good people to deal with on the phone and in person.

I called MSP plumbing to have them come out to give an estimate for a sewer repair. They sent out a truck and technician from a company called One Hour Rooter without informing me instead of MSP plumbing. I thought I was crazy thinking I had made a mistake in who I had called. The technician did the service as requested and we got our estimate. I was still so confused about why there was someone from a company I didn’t remember calling. I looked up reviews after the technician left and found that I was not the only one to have had that experience. I can’t say that that speaks to the quality of their work but I do feel that their customer service should state who is coming into your home. In the end it left me feeling like I couldn’t trust them and that it was a red flag. Again, the technician performed the camera assessment of our sewer line and offered an estimate for a sewer repair without issue. But in the end we chose not to continue with any more services from this company due to confusion over which company we were actually dealing with.

I did my homework before getting my 40 year old boiler replaced. I got bids from multiple contractors, did a slew of internet searches and finally landed on Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing as my installers. After multiple conversations with Nick Bender, I ended up with a combination high efficiency boiler & hot water heater for a reasonable price. Installation took less than a day and was accomplished with professionalism, a willingness to explain the new boiler nuances to me and to keep my home clean despite the mess of removal. Had these guys out to inspect our 30+ yr old furnace before kicking it on for the season. Their phone/email customer service was very friendly and responsive when setting up the appointment and they even told me about a coupon on their website that I didn't know about (that ended up saving me some real money).The technician who showed up (Josh S.) seemed really knowledgable and was quite friendly, in a very genuine way. He communicated very well throughout the 1hr+ inspection, taking the time to walk me through what he was doing and what he was seeing etc..Overall, I was really impressed with the whole transaction. Please note, my rating is based on my customer service experience only, since we didn't have any repair work done. That being said, based on this positive experience, I will be giving them a call when I do need something fixed or replaced.

I had a leaking hot water heater and contacted 2 places to see who may be able to help. I had done business with MSP in the past and they were fast, quality and affordable. Still haven’t heard back from the other company and Thomas has installed and cleaned up the new water heater already. Would highly recommend MSP for your heating, cooling and plumbing needs. Unprofessional Company!I contacted MSP 3 weeks ago to schedule an A/C tune up for $49.00 advertised price. They then said they were 3 weeks out on appointments. So, since our A/C was working & just needed its regular tune up, I scheduled for 3 weeks, which was yesterday between noon & 4p. I took the day off to be home.They called me yesterday at 9:45a & told me their guy would be busy doing repairs all day & needed to reschedule to the 15th (2 weeks from now). I told them I took the day off, but that didn't seem to bother them--they still wanted to reschedule 2 weeks out. I canceled & hung up.Don't bother with this company. They have no respect for customers. We'll be getting our tune up from a company slightly more expensive but much more reputable and respectful to customers.

I have never felt so swindled. I just wanted a garbage disposal replaced. I had already bought the new one. When the tech got to my house, he looked at it for about 30 seconds and quoted me $800. I balked at the price and he proceeded to tell me what made the job so difficult and time-consuming, hence the high price. In less than an hour, he had the new unit fully installed. Certainly didn't seem difficult or time-consuming to me. But he already had me on the hook for $800. With no parts listed on the invoice because I bought the new disposal myself, they literally charged me almost $1,000 an hour.The work was done well, so I gave them 2 stars instead of one, but 1 star feels justified too ..

Very happy with my experience with MSP. Sales guy Dave was terrific about taking time to explain all the various options relating to furnaces, A/C, & heat pumps, which was what ultimately sold us. Installation crew was very knowledgable and professional as well. TJ, Nick, and the rest of the crew had our new furnace and A/C system installed in a few hours and took the time to explain everything to us thoroughly. Electricians were top-notch as well. If you do some shopping around, you'll also find that MSP has better warranties than their competitors, but were competitive with their pricing. All in all, would definitely recommend them.

Joe did a great job! He explained everything clearly, fixed our air condition, and was nice to work with.

Peter arrived on time, immediately went to work, finished the repair in 10 minutes and didn't charge me anything because he didn't have to use any of his own materials. When is the last time someone performed a maintenance service for me free of charge happy? Never before today! No charge was because I am a member of their maintenance club. For that, I pay $99 a year, and they maintain all of my utilities without additional charge. They do this with the hope that if you do need work done that you will choose them. And I certainly have. They always do excellent work and they will continue to be my go-to team for help with my utilities. I have also recommended them to several of my clients all of whom have been very happy with them as well.

We had MSP Plumbing, Heating and Air come out to perform a tune-up on our AC. Our technician, Zach, was very professional and informative. With the tune-up came a short list of recommended services. Where I may have passed on one or more of these, because we have an older unit we decided to go ahead. We do have an extended service contract so product and services were discounted and then we received an additional 10% Off for same day service which help. All-in-all, we were very happy with today’s service by MSP.

Jeremy P came in and gave us a review of the options he could offer to replace our 24 year old water heater. His presentation was straight forward and he answered all our questions. He got the contract ready and arranged the financing. The work was done in about 2 hours (he had 2 assistants).They kept our home clean and cleaned up after themselves.

Called out MSP for a strange smell from my hot water to have them look at my hot water heater. Bo arrived and reviewed the system which was close to 10 years old to confirm if it was the culprit. Once fixed we’re determined went through details to fix it as well as possible upgrades -ultimately decided to replace due to age and life expectancy. Got everything updated confirmed all faucets were running well once water was back on and cleaned up. Very pleased with his work and knowledge.

Igniter on water heater wasnt working. Guy came out and fiddled with it and it worked and lit. He said it went out after 2min and need a new gas valve most expensive part. Figured that wasnt the case and started it after he left. Has worked fine since. Also wanted to charge 500 to install it. RUN crooks

Our 17 year old furnace got red-tagged during an annual inspection. Nick and Drew worked hard to design the optimal system for our home without over selling us. Installers showed up exactly at the scheduled time and did a very thorough install. Left the place clean and tidy. Great product, great service and good pricing.

MSP came out to do a scheduled checkup on my furnace of 1 1/2 years of age. He went over everything thoroughly and gave me the results, which were all within normal limits. He also suggested changing out my humidifier, which was outdated and I am no longer using because of problems with the unit. The technician was very courteous and willing to answer my questions. I would recommend to all people.

I had to call them on Sat Christmas Eve morning as my boiler stopped working. He was there within a couple hours without an extra crazy holiday/weekend charge. Thank you!

I had an appointment in June for a furnace quote. I received an EMAIL an hour before the appointment to let me know they would not show up. I called and the reason that they gave was that it was too hot out. Keep in mind that the 90 degree weather had been forecasted for over a week, and this was the 2nd appointment as they pushed me out before. For this appointment, I modified my schedule to make it out there, and they didn't even have the courtesy to call, let alone let me know the night before. Not sure how you could expect service from a company like this if you were really in need of a critical service. I also called and asked for follow up from a manager, gave the receptionist my contact information, and shockingly did not receive a follow up communication.

MSP replaced my 20 yr old boiler pump and re-plumbed a few pipes for a more efficient flow. The technician was very professional and walked me through the process and asked questions when multiple options were available. Everything is back in working order and my space was left clean. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Tom hooked up gas dryer venting and gas supply. He was friendly, funny, and profession. He also completed the work in a fraction of the time it would have taken me and probably less time than it would have taken most plumbers. We had a natural gas leak in our basem*nt. The plumber responded super fast and did great work. He even identified some other issues and fixed those as well. MSP is a more expensive option than other companies but they do really solid work, respond very quickly and offer a high level of professionalism and service.

Zach arrived on time and took care of my furnace problems very efficiently. He provided me with his diagnostics and allowed me to make the service choices without pressure. He was also very considerate of not tracking snow into my house. Thanks to MSP for getting a service person out to me on the same day I called.

I had water damage in an upstairs bathroom due to an ice dam. Another contractor had come out to inspect. They used a device to detect the amount of moisture in walls . In the upstairs the moisture level was such that they were going to first try high power fans and heat to dry out. However, I also noticed ceiling damage in my office which is below the upstairs bathroom. The moisture level on the ceiling was so high they felt the need to cut open a section of my ceiling. Turns out there was a water pipe which was apparently the source of the damage. They referred me to MSP Plumbing. MSP detected the source, put in a new pipe, cleaned up and was gone in 2 1/2 hours.

The team from MSP was amazing! They were professional, showed up on time, were thorough with their work, and ensured we had everything we needed for our ductless mini split installation. They also made sure to leave our house better than they found it, and were very intentional with cleanup. In addition, MSP's services exceeded several other providers we talked to. Out of 4 companies we talked to, they were the only ones that told us about the possibility of doing a ducted system to heat and cool all five of our second-floor bedrooms and the bathroom. We didn't even know that was possible for our house. Pricing was very competitive as well. I would recommend them for future jobs.

Thomas did an excellent job with installing our new piping and shower valve (and tub drain kit, and tub). The job turned out to be more than what he expected when he arrived, but he did an amazing job of rolling with it. He took the time to explain everything to us before and while completing the work, and answered all of our many questions.

I had a standard re-check of my furnace with Thomas E and he was great as well as patient with my questions regarding water going into the system and how the radiators are affected. I have a 101 year old home that has many mysteries, but my furnace isn't one of them thanks to these guys. Jeremy was the initial guy I worked with last year and he was equally as efficient and friendly. I have worked with many contractors all summer and as a single woman had some difficulties with extremes messes and men acting badly. It was so refreshing to work with these people who knew what to do, went right to it, and were respectful throughout the whole process. They also were there right on time. We just moved into a new townhouse and it seemed like almost everything that used water had an issue including 4 bathrooms and the kitchen sink. Our service expert Mike Morris was on time, diagnosed problems quickly, gave rational advice and was able to give an estimate AND start work on the same day. He treated us and our home with respect and was courteous throughout his time in our home. He had parts and materials on his truck saving both of us time. Considering how much work actually had to be done, after the job was finished there was not one space or spot that was left for us to clean up - it was like he was never here except our plumbing is now in top-notch condition. We would definitely use Minneapolis St Paul Plumbing Heating and Air again for our future service needs and won't hesitate to ask for Mike.

I have been a member of MSP for a few years now. I must say they have the quickest response (24/7), and a very friendly crew. Recently, I found they even upgraded their service to give you more timely information when a technician is heading his/her way. They are very respectful, always listen careful to me, and answer my questions without reserve. So far, for HVAC service, they charge fairly. And it is totally worthy the membership fee. It is (still!) less than $100 per year, but they give you two free inspections, one in spring/summer for air conditioning, and one in fall/winter for furnace. I am happy with them.

Not super friendly over the phone which is why I didn't have them come out for service and the lady I talked to refused to give a quote for a specific service over the phone. She said that a service rep had to come out first. Not sure why I should pay a trip charge when I knew what specific repair I was inquiring about.

So glad we selected MSP for service! Our technician/plumber (Bo) was very friendly, professional and offered a couple of repair and pricing options to us. Once the work was finished he actually showed us the damaged/rusted pipe and explained why the leak had happened. Additionally he checked some other areas and made repair recommendations that we need to consider in the future. Highly recommend.

Adam was a great tech! They were very prompt, very pleasant, and he also showed me exactly what was done and how to change the filter on my new furnace. After my old furnace quit, they gave me space heaters to use for the day I didn't have heat as well. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone! Jeremy also came out to check my old furnace for my first appointment, and he was great as well and extremely helpful when talking me through my options.

I used MSP to install AC/Heat pump system on my 1921 house with radiators and they did an amazing job. They also come for annual check. Trust them completely.

Tom's basem*nt plumbing repair was fine but I had a major problem with the drain cleaning service he (or actually, probably your company) set me up with (One Hour Rooter). The very heavy power flush equipment their tech hauled in and out of my house left several noticeable gouges in the concrete front steps and in the wooden front door threshold. As I've told them, they need to either use different equipment or better train their techs on how to haul it in and out.

Will hire this company from now on.Called a competitor and they said they could come out in a week. I called this company and they came the next day!Also, Zach, who came to service our AC unit was friendly professional and efficient. We spent significant time with MSP on our furnace estimate. We had a plan and had reviewed all options. We identified a start date two months out. Just before the start date, the technician contacted us to say it would cost $2k more and would be problematic, after leading us to believe it would work as we budgeted and got financing. He then dropped off the face of the earth and stopped communicating with us. He basically wasted two months of our time. I would not recommend them. Under the circ*mstances, they merit a big, fat ZERO.UPDATE AND RESPONSE TO MSP: No thank you. In fact, we did receive a complete bid from MSP from the guy who disappeared later, so you did complete the process. We have decided to go with Hoffman. They stayed with the process every step of the way, discussed our needs and provided a bid.

Alex was very professional, knowledgeable about the products they carried, and was straight forward with the project pricing and didn’t use typical annoying ‘salesperson’ techniques that other companies used. Was able to offer a lower than many of the other big name HVAC companies.Install team showed up exactly at 7am like they said they would. Andy was very professional, clean, and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and fixed some items that were not up to code that were done by another company previously.

Everyone at MSP was so awesome! We had the unfortunate luck of having to replace our entire HVAC system after only having moved in in May. The technicians were super helpful in making sure we understood what was wrong, what the cost was going to be, and getting us set up with financing. When our AC went out in 90 degree heat, I called another company that came up first on Google and they didn't have any openings until a week later — MSP had our entire system replaced in 2 days. THEY ARE ROCKSTARS!!!! They just scored new customers for life

I was massively overcharged ($700/an hour) for the installation of a $20 flange in my toilet. I have called twice to complain and still have never heard from the manager I asked for. Save your money and find an honest company.

Jason serviced our water heater today. He was very knowledgeable, proposed several replacement options for us and wasn't all over us to buy now. We've been using MSP for about 5 years now.

MSP put in a new heat pump system for us. Nick Bender conceived an all electric system that we are excited about and, though there's been a bump or two along the way, MSP has been super responsive to questions and has dealt with concerns promptly and professionally.

An update to my previous review that I accidentally deleted instead of editing. After a failed repair, the same plumber was sent back to go over the work. Unfortunately the first time we used the bath water came pouring out the seal again. We finally got a call back from the plumbing manager who sent a new plumber who came out and did a much better job checking over everything, actually tested the seals and even found and fixed another leak that wasn't detected the first time. So now that everything is done, we're happy with the work we got and they did come back and make things right but I still can't give 5 stars because 3 total trips is a lot for what was originally a small leak.

Water heater broke 9 pm Friday. Booked online appointment at 10pm for next morning. Got a call at 8:02 am. Service on site at 9:30. New water heater installed by 1:00 same day. Price was not terrible either. In the range of estimates I found online.

Absolutely love this company! They keep a record of how old your water heater or furnace is and then were able to come in and give me four options of what I could do to fix the problem. I signed up for the annual program which gives you yearly maintenance AND discounts. The service guy was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was also friendly with the dogs and made sure they didn’t get out or in places they shouldn’t lol. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Thorough and knowledgeable about my old boiler and pipes - learned what four previous companies that were sent here from my “home warranty” company Choice Home Warranty (btw stay away from these scammers) could not figure out nor give me any solutions other than selling me a new boiler which they couldn’t guarantee was the issue. Matt did a great job assessing and explaining to me the issues. He also told me CO2 was leaking and turns off my gas for me. None of the companies my home warranty sent out even check for this or told me about it. I’m satisfied with the work Matt did today and the patience, and honesty in his responses which he handled so professionally and well.

A bit of a bait and switch on the preventative maintenance sale. The technician oversold how good this service and I’ve been very disappointed. Very difficult to get someone out to actually perform this service. They claim their service is far superior and therefore worth paying a higher price, but not buying into it on the preventative side. A waste of $10-12 per month so far.

MSP came out to flush our water heater and do a plumbing inspection. After finding things that needed attention the technician put together a variety of options and cost estimates. We decided on one of them and the work was done at this time. Work was done in completely satisfactory manner.

I used MSP Pluming, Heating and Air in the past to service my radiator heating system in my century home. Annually, it requires service so that the hot water in the radiator system can reach the upper floors of the duplex. The first service was timely, and effective.I have had some scheduling issues in the past. Be sure to be clear about the extent of your problem that requires service. Emergencies may supersede your scheduled appointment if you are not clear that your problem is also urgent.Technicians have always been professional and thorough.

Tony Johnson saved our Fourth of July! We came home June 30th and found our air conditioner making a strange noise and the indoor temp was soaring toward 90. We have a birthday/Fourth of July party planned for Sunday when the temperature is predicted to reach the high 90's with killer humidity. When we called the service we pay monthly to repair various household machines explained that not enough people returned to work, tons of air conditioners were crashing all over and it'd be a week or more before they could send someone out!Well, all I can say is they should pay a working wage because we saw an ad for MSPPHA and phoned. TWO HOURS later Mr. Johnson arrived, examined, diagnosed, explained, and provided a replacement for a burned out part. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, more calming and soothing than the purring hum of a working air-conditioner. Tendrils of cool air began circulating immediately and glad rejoicing spread throughout the household!Tony Johnson was our hero yesterday. Our party is still on and our holiday weekend was saved. The price for the part and service were fair, and we even signed up for future air-conditioning maintenance to make sure this doesn't happen again. We couldn't be more pleased.

MSP Plumbing Heating and Air has been great since we started using them after we bought our house 4 years ago. All of the appliances are about 15-20 years old and have needed replacing as we've been able to afford it. MSP has helped us make some strategic decisions about that, and has helped keep the older appliances in shape as we use up their final years of usefulness. They have also given us very reasonable prices on purchase and installation of a new a/c and furnace. We are part of their total comfort club and they are great about making sure we schedule maintenance for everything which, again, has helped keep our old furnace, A/C and Water heater going until we could replace them. All of the workers have been friendly, smart, and funny - Haven't had any bad experiences with them at all. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently I had my entire mechanical system (furnace, air conditioner, water heater, humidifier and air filtration system) replaced by the guys at MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air. Their estimator Brian was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly prepared an estimate, walked me through the entire process and timing of the installation, then after I accepted it got the whole project scheduled. Clint and Joshua showed up on time first thing Monday morning and stayed until the job was completed and tested thoroughly. It was a long day for both of them but they worked steady and efficiently throughout the day and the resulting system works great. I'm very pleased with the work they did on my home and would highly recommend MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air to anyone needing similar work done on their residence or business.

Xavier went through our A/C system and found no fault. He then checked the furnace electrical components and thought there was a bad circuit board and transformer. He installed new ones, but that didn't work.Rather than give up, he called for help. Together with his partner they found a bad connection in the furnace switch box. He ultimately charged me for a service call and electrical service. These guys are awesome and extremely honest! We will be using MSP for all future work!

Will 100% use again because of Drew Freeman. The technician came out to my house, said that I needed to fix my unit for $2000 or replace it for $6000. Drew came out to give me a bid on a new unit and instead found out that the technician missed something and he fixed my unit. Didn’t need to spend a penny on replacing any parts or buy a new furnace.

Very thorough inspection. Reviewed what he checked and let me know all was in good working order. This company is professional, timely and knowledgeable.

I signed up for their triple play, $66 for a tune up of my furnace, A/C, and water heater.The furnace guy spent an hour trying to find a crack in my heat exchanger, to force a replacement of the whole unit. but did nothing as far as a tune up. Yes its 38 years old, but still works. Since he can see the flame then the furnace is fine and needs no cleaning or checkingThe water heater guy started to drain my 39 year old water heater, but mentioned if he did so it may start leaking as the sediment was probably the only thing keeping it from leaking now. So I skipped the drain, although I did it myself and it didn't leak. He gave me a quote for a new water heater, the quote was double my other quotes.The A/C guy started harassing me to sign up for their membership plan, I almost asked him to leave before he even started working, I said NO over and over, but he just kept pushing it. He did a thorough job cleaning theA/C, but suggested a bunch of high priced upgrades, but also said I didn't need them. But he just kept pushing the membership. He also told me how incompetent his coworkers are, so not sure why I would ever sign up for their plan.Got a call from the company after posting my review. He asked me to change the review to “help him out”. Apparently tuning up a furnace is not part of the tune up if it looks good from the outside. And if the tech wrote down that he cleaned the furnace, then I must be lying about him not doing so.What a joke. Plenty of other companies out there

I am absolutely shocked at how many five star reviews this company has.If you are concerned about COVID-19 and having a service personnel in your home, do not hire this company. The technician arrived at my door without a mask on and asked if he needed to put it on (keep in mind answered the door with my mask on). I told him yes, he does and he walked in my home and then put the mask on- couldn't be bothered to put it on outside. While he was in my basem*nt, he complained that masks are face diapers.Not only that, but my husband and I let the tech know what we thought the problem was, and the tech never opened any panels, didn't check anything and just took a flashlight to the exterior of the unit and said yeah it probably needs to be completely replaced or have these two parts for $2K done.I called another company that came out the next day, that opened the water heater panel and found a hole in the water heater- the second company told me the whole unit needed to be replaced and their quote was literally half of the price of MSP- and the MSP tech didn't even open that panel and/or find that same hole!!They also claim to be a paperless company and require your email address, but the quotes they give are on a piece of paper in pen with the tech's handwriting. When you call the reps about your quote, they tell you to call your tech and don't have any info on hand.The customer service reps I spoke to on the phone were all professional. I submitted my complaints to the manager, who was very kind and apologetic to me, and I appreciated his call. If it weren't for the customer service reps and the tech's manager- this company would have a one star review. I will never use them again and definitely would never recommend them to a friend.

Our ductless AC was acting up and I called MSP to take a look. They arrived quickly and were very professional. Luckily nothing serious was wrong, just a system that was not starting up as fast as usual. HVAC expert Drew Freeman explained how to clean and keep an eye on our unit. Plus he was really nice to my 2 cats :) We signed up for their service partner plan because it waived the service fee for this call and gives us a piece of mind if something does break. The plan includes a bunch of other perks that are silly not to take advantage of!

Dan W. was professional and friendly (even to our dogs), and clearly explained the problem and our options. He noted that in time there will be more plumbing work to do in our old house, but he was up-front about what was urgent and didn’t pressure us to do everything today. I’ll call MSP again (shoutout to the responsive and polished customer service team) when it’s time to do the rest of the work.

He left us with an estimate for a new water heater and a new water softener, but put no pressure on us to purchase anything at this time. He did a very good job.

Bo quickly, efficiently and professionally fixed our faucet drain stopper problem. He has been sent out to us before by MSP.. Very personable and conscientious. We'll be requesting him in the future.

Our water heater went out and i called 3 different places. To start off, the other places weren't nearly as friendly on the phone as MSP was. They told me a technician would be out between 1 and 6 pm. They then called and told me he would be at our home within a half hour. He showed up in about 15 minutes and he (Tom) was very professional and friendly. By 6 pm we had our old water heater out and a new one delivered and installed. EXCELLENT service. I won't call anyone else.Edited to add: Just had our AC tuned up by Valentino Jackson. He was a great guy to work with. Once again, great work MSP.

Update: Danielle from MSP called me the next day after I posted this review with reference numbers etc. for me to verify with the utility company. She was very helpful and had already done research before reaching out. While I was expecting two separate payments per their salesman, I guess the rebates were combined by the utility company. A misunderstanding mostly on my part as I couldn't find the rebate amount(s) in writing after the months had gone by. Still, it took a 2-star review to get a response from the company via our ongoing email, and they resubmitted a rebate to get declined vs looking into the issue then. All in all, I will still do business with them as they stand behind their work and we love the new system they installed.Original Review: Hired MSP to install a new top-of-the-line furnace and AC. The initial installation was performed with errors in the work order, but the company made it right and came back to correct the mistakes free of charge. On another occasion we had a condensation leak and their tech repaired it, but in doing so pulled open a part of the intake/exhaust pipes and had to come back the same day to repair that as well. As far as installation and service goes, they are fine.So why the 2 star review? Responsiveness, or lack thereof, of their permits group who assists in obtaining energy rebates from your utility company. By all means do not trust them to do this process for you, I wish I had taken on the responsibility myself.When they quote the furnace and AC, a major selling point is the rebates you will get back from your utility company. I was told to expect one rebate in summer for the AC and another in the winter for the furnace. I received a rebate check in the summer, but winter has come and gone with no check. I originally reached out to the permits group (that took my information and promised to do the process for me) on January 21st with my concerns, on Feb 10th, after I followed up due to lack of response, I was told no action is needed and they are processing rebates as fast as they can. On March 25th I sent another email and again, after I followed up once more, I was told on March 30th that the permit had been applied for. That same day my utility company notified me that an application had been received. Weeks later, the application had been denied, stating that payment was already issued. I did not receive the payment, but understand things happen and reached out to the permits group for clarification and next steps. I have been stonewalled with zero response after two emails with the issue, sent days apart.I will update this review once the rebate I was promised is received.

Very efficient diagnosis and quick repair. All my questions were answered. Have found all MSP technicians to be competent and friendly. Most recent visit was our annual inspection/maintenance by Ben. Very satisfied as usual.

We had a great experience with MSP! I called on a Saturday afternoon, and by Monday afternoon our issue was addressed. Bo was friendly and thorough and did a great job on two difficult toilet replacements. The MSP team was great on communication throughout the whole process.

My basem*nt flooded over the weekend from an old water heater. I called MSP this morning, and within a few hours, I had a brand new water heater. Nick was professional, puntual, and didn’t pressure me into buying anything. I feel at ease knowing I won’t have any more flooding!

Drew was highly professional and knowledgeable! He took the time to explain to me and show me the areas that were damaged. Drew shared with me several possible options, as well as pros and cons with each. He was efficient, easy to understand, and trustworthy.

They want to charge me $600 to fix their own problematic install.Had them install a ducted mini split system, the ducts were lower than the return air grate, making it impossible to put a ceiling in. $600 for them to lower the return air to be able to fit a ceiling. One would think that would be included in the $10,000+ job quote.This is in addition to the fact that the system is undersized and doesn't keep up if it's warmer than 82 degrees. They supposedly did HVAC load calculations when they recommended me a 13000 BTU system, but it's not even close. After the install, I complained about cooling capacity, they informed me that an 18,000 BTU wouldn't have fit. Fair, but if 18000 BTU is what my apartment needed, I wouldn't have installed this system... I would have put in an appropriately sized ductless system.I also had a ton of condensation on the ducts, which to their credit, they did fix without charging me extra. It took them 3 trips, I had water dripping on my dining room hard wood floors from the ducts.

Nick, the HVAC Service Technician, efficiently completed maintaining my home's Air-conditioning system today. He did a thorough checking of the system with a testing equipment and checked it all out, and so it is working very fine. He noted that I need to order more HVAC filters soon as I only have one left, so I will be ordering those next month. Nick is a very good communicator and good listener. He is very pleasant to communicate with and helpful. Nick checked over the whole HVAC air conditioner system, cleaned and tuned it up. I'm very glad that it is in good order and will be working fine this summer especially when we probably will get really hot days and mid-summer if not sooner. Thanks!

This is an updated review base on my dealing with Minneapolis St Paul plumbing.I pay a monthly maintenance fee which get me a furnace,water heater and air conditioner check/tune up a couple of times during the year as well a discount on any work they may be performed.But the problem is when you make an appointment, way in advance and I have to take time away from work and they cancel the appointment with short notice, or the technician show up late way pass their appointment window. this is not the first time I'm dealing with this issue.When you call to complain is like to listen to a broken record we are sorry... customer service in non existence I'm still waiting to talk to a Supervisor, I just call again at 1:57 PM to speak to one but according to the person that answers the phone 1:57 PM is the end of their day??. I left another message will see what happens. I'm disappointed and frustrated.Once you get an actual technician at your house my dealing with them have been very good so far, I hope the company take notice and improve on the customer service. I will post a new updated review once I speak to a supervisor.5/30/19 Update, The Supervisor called me, he listen to my issue he was very emphatic and told me that yesterday he spoke to the staff and crew about this scheduling situation and customer service. Had an excellent experience, our plumbers (Nick and Jason) got the original job done and more in two days (we were prepared for 2.5 to 3) and explained everything along the way. One of my favorite things about MSP's plumbers is that they all seem happy to teach/explain. I'm never going to do my own plumbing repairs, but I like knowing what's going on in the guts of my home. One of our light switches stopped working after the first day of work from something that happened while cutting away walls and ceiling, but they got an electrician out to to fix that free of charge.

The 3 together were advertised at $66...a very good deal...but we've been on their Preferred Customer plan for years, which would cover ALL 3 at NO COST.The water heater, however, did require some replacement parts...not altogether unexpected. Bo displayed the worn pieces, discussed repair vs. replacing the whole heater, tested our city water.With today's service, we can expect good, extended use from the heater. Very content with today's work.(Previous review from years ago.)MSP Plumbing has served us well over the few years we have been enrolled in their preferred customer program.Prompt, efficient, honest in their appraisals.However, despite the discount that comes with membership, I feel their prices are quite high. Once given an estimate, I know that I can decline service. But with the last two visits, I felt the repairs were needed, and accepted the job for convenience. Both were well over $1000.In future, I will more carefully consider each job before accepting their service.

Tom was fantastic! Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We called on Friday about a leaking toilet, and they were able to schedule a service appointment for Monday afternoon. I am not confident MSP pricing is competitive without it being itemized to reflect parts versus labor with consideration of how quickly the technician was able to assess and update the unit. The technician, Tim, did a great job, was persistent in the face of multiple issues, cleaned up after he was finished, and wouldn't leave the premises until he was certain he had fixed all the problems. Peter Installed a sump pump backup battery and replaced/ installed new water softener. Did a great job, very professional and efficient.

We had MSP install a new air conditioner and furnace which they did extremely well. From beginning to end, they were efficient, professional and pleasant. The entire job was completed in one day and we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you MSP!

At least one of their plumbers is very shoddy. MSP sent Jonathan Holloway to install valves and replace a damaged bath faucet, he bought the wrong cartridge, which didn't work, and charged me $600+ dollars for it, and he made me pay for a showerhead that I in no way needed. It cost $2200 and I'm reasonably sure I was ripped off. Then when his work was finished the faucet handles were loose and the spout was sticking out; held together by some sort of gel that was disintegrating within a month. I had to bark at MSP to get them to send another plumber to fix his work twice. Tom Miller fixed the problems but I still feel violated. I will have to either avoid MSP or remember which plumber is the bad one.

I had MSP install a new water heater, and they also performed a quick maintenance check on my boiler. Talking to them, they explained to me everything I wanted and needed to know about my heating system, and explained why I was not getting the sort of heat I should have expected from my boiler. I trust them for their quality and knowledge, and I will continue using them in the future.UPDATE: on a follow-up visit, the technician did some extra fixes for me without being prompted, like lighting the pilot light on my downstairs fireplace. Much appreciated!

Next day was the earliest they could come so we stayed elsewhere that night. next morning I stayed home from work for the appointment. No show. No call. MSP called me twice to reschedule a furnace tuneup with the reason that their professionals had run into unexpected repair needs. This was the same reason stated in October and then today. The same person called me to cancel my appointment and had no record of my previous appointment or call that he made to cancel. I think they just got too busy with their fall tuneup promotion and couldn't service folks with their current staffing levels. This is just a guess on my part but I have not ever had this experience before. Needless to say I canceled my service needs with them as I do not feel they are reliable and I cannot restructure my days anymore.

Mitch is a fantastic tech--been dealing with a backordered part for nearly a year and he called regularly to keep me updated. When he first noticed the problem I had trouble hearing what he was talking about and he said trust me, it's not supposed to sound like this. He finished the swap and the difference between the old motor and the new motor is obvious--clearly he knows what he's talking about. Glad i have them do regular service checks.

When you get your oil changed, the employee asks if you would like an inspection of your car and shows you what they’re going to do. My experience with MSP Plumbing yesterday is they waited for me to take the dog outside before exploring the rest of my house.They were only supposed to be in the bathroom in the basem*nt. There is no need to go and check out the rest of my house and then comment on it. When I caught one of them opening up the oven, they were asking me how old it was. And when we went back in the basem*nt, they also checked out that oven. Why? They were there to fix water supply valves under a sink in the basem*nt. There was absolutely no need to be checking out my stoves.And there was no need to be visiting the rest of my house. I felt like my privacy was violated. I had stuff such as medicine and other personal items out. If they would’ve asked me if they could visit the rest of the house, I would’ve said no.They also tried to sell me a water softener system. I told him I didn’t have any money for that, but they told me I should really get one because it’s going to ruin my water heater and such. He went on to explain about the lime, and began removing part of my kitchen faucet. I told him that I replace the aerators yearly, so there was no need for him to remove it.And then I was told that one of the toilet tanks had old hardware. Just to comment that he hadn’t seen it for 30 years. Why are you looking in my toilet tanks? Are they looking for additional work to do? No, I’ll be taking care of that myself. And it’s not leaking. It works fine.We had them come out just to fix one thing. And they were checking out my house for no reason and trying to find things to have me pay for, I guess. Never again will I hire MSP plumbing.If they were to claim they were walking around the house to test all of the faucets after turning the water back on, my husband did the walk-through himself, and everything still took a bit to run fine. So I’m not sure if they really did the testing, but again, they should not have been walking throughout the house. That is something that I or my husband can do after they leave. Or I could’ve done the running around while they waited in the bathroom where they were supposed to be working.

Very friendly, informative, punctual, knowledgeable. All the staff that came to the house were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and awesome with my pets. They even came up with a more strategic plan to move my water heater over to give me more room while replacing my furnace and air conditioner. Management-keep your staff, they are good at their jobs!!!

This company has bailed me out of two consecutive rental property emergencies within hours of my phone calls to them. Their service is outstanding. Service technicians are well versed in the field and have great customer service skills as well. Charges are more than fair. I will no longer be using CenterPoint Energy for my Heating issues. This company is better by a long shot.

The technician went beyond simply filling out his checklist and reporting the results; he was he was able to give me a better overall view of what was going on in my house. He was able to tell me what needed to be fixed, why it needed to be fixed, and possible issues that could arise in the future. Additionally, he was very positive and welcoming of any questions that I had. I've had a lot of technicians just be and in and out type of people. Though they did good jobs, there were some definite rushed experiences. With Mike, however, I felt like he was committed to making sure I had everything he could provide so I could make good decisions in my home.

Thomas came and flushed our water heater, he gave us quotes for our plumbing needs. Quotes were reasonable for the work needing done. He was very professional, and knowledgeable. He explained in detail what was needed to repair each area of need. When/If finances allow we would definitely call to have Thomas do our repairs.

We were out of town on vacation and were notified by the soon-to-be new homeowners during a walk-through that our water heater was spraying water. Yikes! Panic! It was a leak where water feeds into the water heater. Called MSP. We took the technician’s advice and it was repaired. Then when we returned home, we started checking other systems such including the humidifier on the furnace. We noticed a copper tube was turning turquoise. A very, very small amount of water was leaking from a connection. The humidifier was installed along with a new furnace within the last two years. Disappointing but MSP stepped up and fixed it without charge because they were the installer. With a little tightening of a nut, the leak has stopped. This is a great company to work with. The technician was personable, shared his knowledge, checked out the furnace and got right to work. Professional? Yes, without hesitation.

This is an edit of a review from last year. I've had mixed results with MSP, a really good experience last fall with a boiler tune-up done by Zach and then installation of a mini-split A/C system in my 100+ year-old house in June. On the downside, at a free check-up with their service plan I had a technician give me a bid of about $500 (after discount) for a new toilet to replace one that was leaking from the bottom of the tank. I fixed the leak myself with input from a Home Depot sales guy and a $16 supply line. Recently I had my boiler replaced at half the price MSP gave me. Good work, pricing needs careful review.

Sam came to do an annual inspection of a water heater that had been installed approximately one year ago. I was totally satisfied with that work. While here, I mentioned I had a leak in the garbage disposal underneath my sink. I had had a garbage disposal/dishwasher installed approximately two years ago by someone who I would say now was not qualified. That person’s work in installing a water softener and dechlorination system was done incorrectly, and I had to have him come back and redo it. Sam took care of the problem, and I am confident that I will not have a problem again. I complement and highly recommended the work done by Sam and MSP. Thank you.

Completely different price than the person that took down my appointment! The plumber couldn't fix the clog and wanted to charge and additional $285 (starting) to attempt to thaw the pipe. Ridiculous amount of money they want to charge for service they will not guarantee. Called another plumber. Fixed within minutes!!! Way, way cheaper. NOT recommended!**Thanks for your response. I did not go through Home Advisor I called your line directly and was given an estimate over the phone. The plumber came out to my home same day and and before anything was even inspected he told me the price he starts at for drain cleaning. Thawing a pipe was the additional amount in my review.Thanks for your time

We were in need of a new furnace during our brutal winter. So, we called 3 companies to come bid us for a new furnace. We met with Eric from MSP, and he was very good at explaining our options to us. They were extremely timely and professional. However, their rate to repair the wax seal around my toilet was double the cost it is at other providers. They also refuse to give you a quote over the phone even when you know the exact repair that you need. Basically you are stuck with them and their high price or else you have to pay for their visit and call yet another plumber and pay for their visit and repair.

6/20/22 I called MSP as my furnace/AC/thermostat all just stopped working and it was 89 degrees in my house. Ben took my call and he and another dispatcher were able to find someone (Jake) who was willing to come out after hours. Jake was polite, friendly and knowledgeable, was able to diagnose the problem, grab the part and got my AC working again. He was awesome and I will continue to call MSP for future needs!2017 - We called MSP today because our air conditioner wasn't working right. Kenny answered my call and was very pleasant to talk with, and he was prompt about scheduling our appointment. The technician Mitch arrived within the agreed time frame. He was friendly and polite (even though I'm sure he had already been working all day). I was so happy that he was able to diagnose the problem and get our system working again. Kenny and Mitch saved the day for us! Now I wont have to spend another night with awful sleep in a hot house. Peter came out to take a look at a leaking pipe and alerted me to other issues that need to be addressed (which should have been identified on the inspections of my recently-purchased home). I now have information I need to follow up with the inspector since repairs for the non-compliant items will likely be very costly and require significant demolition and restoration of parts of my kitchen and roof. He took the time to explain how things should have been installed and what will be required to move forward with repairs.

Came home last night from a 3 week vacation to find my laundry room flooded and my 20+ year old hot water heater leaking. It was fairly late, but they were able to put me in for a stand by appointment the next day. They were one of the few companies that would work at condos and the only company I called that could potentially get here in less than 24 hours. Both ladies I spoke to over the phone were helpful and nice.This morning I got a call saying they should be able to squeeze me in between 12pm-4pm. However, I got a call earlier and asked if they could come earlier as they had someone available then. That worked out perfectly.Nick, my plumber, was very nice and did a great job. I really appreciated him walking me through what needed to be done and teaching be about my new water heater before he left. I will be recommending them to my dad, and will be calling them when my furnace dies… which hopefully isn’t this year!

He explained everything that he was doing and, ultimately, I needed to replace my furnace. The existing unit was 19 yrs. old and the repair would have been very costly. He arranged for someone to come to my home to discuss my options. Nick B. came the same day. He, too, is very polite and extremely knowledgeable. I got my new furnace today. The techs arrived on time and, same as above, extremely knowledgeable and polite. All the guys were also very nice to my dog. They were very gracious when I brought Thor to meet them. They did a GREAT job with the installation and additional duct work. I would highly recommend MSP to anyone. Thanks for the hard work!

He gave us a discount on the price, cleaned part of the furnace ignitor for free, changed the air filter for free, and gave us a 6 month warranty on the repair he did, even though he wasn't supposed to since it was just a band aid fix. He also offered to put salt in our water softener, just because he saw that it was low! Our experience with Saint Paul Plumbing, Heating, and Air was great today! Office staff and Management very friendly and helpful, technician was terribly unprofessional and difficult and pricing is extortionate! Will never use services again. I scheduled a special a/c tune-up of $49 advertised in a mailer. On the visit the capacitor was found to not be working and was told the tune-up could not be completed without replacing it. For a part that was stocked on the truck I was quoted $299 to install it. That seemed a little expensive so I declined the repair and was told since the tune up couldn't be completed I would have to pay the normal service call charge of $88. Nowhere on the advertised mailer or when I called to set up appointment was there a disclosure that if the system wasn't working or repairs were necessary the tune-up couldn't be completed and I would be required to pay $88 for a service visit. After declining the repair service I went to my local supply store and found the replacement part for $15. I decided to purchase that and replace it myself which took about 10 mins as a non-professional. I called back to speak to a manager about why the charge was $299 and was told that it factored in overhead costs of insurance, offices, trucks etc. I was told that they would send out a technician to complete the tune-up no that the system was working free of charge as a one-time courtesy. On the second visit the same technician from a week prior arrived at my property and said he was here to install new capacitor and Hard Start Kit for $600 which is what he had perviously suggested on the first visit, but I had already declined, and talked about with the manager why. He then refused to do the a/c tune up stating it wasn't right to him and company and drove off extremely unprofessionally.

Nick was on time and very profession. He displayed a high level of knowledge in relation to the pluming industry. He was able to quickly identify our problem and give a good estimate on the cost of the fix. It was really easy scheduling an AC tune-up with MSP. I did it all online and within a few minutes I got a call to schedule a time and date that worked best for me.On the day of the service, I got a call requesting another time to be set up since they were really backed up with emergency repairs that day. That was fine with me since my schedule was flexible that week and I was able to get the service done the next day.Tony showed up on time and was very professional. He performed a check-up of the furnace and outside air conditioning unit. The air filter was really dirty, and he replaced it for me since we had some spares already set aside. He was really kind an asked if I had any questions and incredibly patient. On the outside unit, he showed me where a mice or squirrel had chewed on the condenser wire, and he asked me if I wanted to replace it.Overall, I had a great experience with MSP and Tony and purchased their membership, since it was a great value of $99 annually, which includes a furnace tune-up, AC tune-up, and a water heater check and plumbing check. The AC tune-up was $59 for itself so that was waved after I signed up for the membership.

MSP was here today to check my ERV air exchanger. Apparently the city required some data from it. Like all my previous experiences with MSP, the service was first class.2 Years ago MSP replaced my furnace and air conditioner with a Mitsubishi Heat Pump. It was a pretty big project and again everything was absolutely first class. When I had questions in the planing for it, they responded very, very quickly. It required considerable electrical upgrade and the electrician company they use was equally good.I'd highly recommend them to anyone needed their services

I've always had great service with this company but the guy that looked at my furnace didn't do anything to it. The guy that looked at my hot water heater did a great job, the furnace & air conditioner guy was here for maybe 20 minutes. I feel like the company doesn't believe me.

Tom came to do a water heater tune-up, which he accomplished with great efficiency. He was clear about what he was doing and abut various options we had for other issues, and he was very personable.

Great company to work with. Our tech Jason was great. Very knowledgeable, great listener, and very thorough. We’re on their maintenance plan. For about $9 per month, they come out a few times each year to tune the A/C, furnace, and water heater systems. Cost of these visits alone would exceed the monthly, and they help us to satisfy warranty requirements. Very happy overall with MSP.

Msp is very dependable, they were able to fix a leaking drain pipe months back and I signed up for their subscription service. I was contacted the other day about scheduling AC maintenance; Matt came out and took care of heating maintenance while he was in the hvac system, felt great to get that out of the way before winter!

Steven was professional, informative, and a pleasure to work with. He provided opportunities to view the diagnostic findings and discuss causes of issues and potential options to remedy these issues. With the service, he also inspected other points of plumbing and identified an issue with our garbage disposal, and gave an easy tip for fixing the toilet tank flap which had been leaking. He also wore a mask and shoe booties inside the home. He priced out our options and provided some timelines to think about future updates. Overall a great experience.

I really dislike giving less than stellar reviews, but I do think that others need to know all possible information when making a decision of what company to hire.The MSP repair tech that came out was nice and knowledgable, he knew what he was doing and I am confident with his work. I have nothing but good things to say about the repair techs and their work! However, the repairs I needed were quoted quite a bit higher than I was expecting. I had him do the one repair I needed to get the AC unit working again that day and passed on the other suggested repairs.I had another company come out this week to give me a second opinion and quote on the repairs. Turns out, the markup from MSP was 250% on the repairs. In full transparency, the capacitor that I got replaced by MSP cost me $350 while the second opinion company said it would be $100 if I had gone through them. The other parts quoted for repair that I did not do with MSP had similar high markups in comparison. I ended up getting my other repairs done with the second opinion company since the costs were more doable. I hope MSP's management can look at their pricing and see how they can improve here.

My plumber was Bo. This young man was very knowledgeable. I was a very capable jack of all trades handyman until I was disabled at my job. Bo told me what he had encountered while searching for the leak(s) in my kitchen faucet. Then he showed me what it looked like and what he proposed to fix the problems. I was comfortable with his diagnosis and I believe he was spot on in his proposal on how to fix the problem in the most cost effective method. I agreed to follow through with his plan. When Bo left for the day, I felt as if I was saying good bye to a trusted friend.But then, I purchased a replacement faucet that Bo had recommended. He told me told call that night, which I did, and a different plumber would be out the next day to install it. I knew Bo was going on a short pre-Christmas vacation, so he would be unavailable the next day. When the MSP Plumbing dispatcher, Amanda, called to schedule the next morning,she told me the first available opening would be the following Thursday. I told Amanda this was unacceptable and that Bo had stated that someone would come out the next day, not a week later. I was so satisfied with the conditions of this repair that I allowed Bo to additionally sign me up for their Total Customer Care plan to maintain our water heater, furnace and air conditioner.Needless to say, I was furious when all Amanda could offer was an apology for Bo.Bo never would have accepted this delay as he had shared his plans for what he was going to do on his vacation. And I told him we were flying down to Kansas on Thursday morning to spend a week with my daughter's family after Christmas.IF, MSP Plumbing had been able to follow through as Bo had promised, I would have rated them with 5 stars. But, with the promise of success and then the let down of no plumber before Christmas really stifles our holiday family plans. I have no choice but to find another plumber. There was tremendous potential, but thats all.*I have been paying $8/month for a perks plan with MSP Plumbing even though they burned me on my kitchen sink install a year earlier. I called MSP for an emergency main drain clean out today. My call was made about 2pm. MSP for an emergency couldn't make a service call until Monday Morning, and this was Saturday afternoon. I am aborting my contract with MSP. I would DISCOURAGE anyone from doing business with MSP.

Water Heater pilot kept going out. Had no hot water for a week. I called MSP early in the morning, after calling multiple companies. Dan arrived 10 minutes early. He got right to work and did his due diligence to examine water heater. Unfortunately I had a defective Rheem. Dan was able to diagnose the water heater and was able to provide options and an out the door price right away. After we agreed on price he went to work on it right away and finished in an hr. The whole process only took an hour and we were grateful for Dan to come out. We will continue to use their services. Dan is good and Rheem is bad is all you need to know.

MSP is great to work with. The techs do a great job of explaining everything clearly and not pressuring you in a way that makes you feel like they are just trying to sell you something you don’t need. The monthly Total Comfort Club is SO worth the money. They proactively remind me when the next maintenance is due and their scheduling process is super easy and can even be done via text. Every homeowner needs this service. It pays for itself very quickly.

The Homeworks agency was where I received financing, and worked well with communication everyone being on the same page. Josh was first here, and last to leave, and answered my questions about the new functionality of the boiler and hot water heater. They also included a smart thermostat. A slight hiccup with a malfunctioning part set us back one day, but no biggie!! Highly recommend.

MSP Plumbing and Heating always knock it out of the park! My furnace went out yesterday and I have a brand new furnace today. They really went above and beyond and I am grateful.

We thought we needed a new air conditioner but it ended up being a new furnace. Drew was outstanding and was here in less than a couple of hours. As a busy Realtor - time and service is extremely important. Especially in 95 degree heat.

We were having some issues with our heat overshooting the temp or turning off too soon and called MSP. I was amazed that they could get someone out the same day, within a matter of hours. The technician, Justin W. showed up when we were told he would, and was a great help. He was troubleshooting the issue and also noticed/diagnosed a couple other issues with the zoning in our home that we hadn't even realized which was very helpful. In the end he decided the main issue was our thermostat and he helped us choose the one with the most value for our needs and installed it. No more issues with the heat and we are now a member of the care club (It's actually a good deal) and confident we can rely on MSP for anything that comes up in the future. Thanks Justin! We also had them install mini-splits over a year ago which we have been very happy with.

Definitely recommend Nick Z at MSP. He went above and beyond. We had an old water heater that broke at our house. Nick came out the next day on time and was super knowledgeable. Was torn on spending the extra money on a tankless. Nick did a great job going over the different options and explaining each in detail. He also went over the new unit with me and made sure to cover everything before leaving.

Dan did a fantastic job replacing two shut offs and faucets which were on the verge of breaking from ice buildup and about to flood our basem*nt. He was a pleasure to deal with. Give him a raise. Highly recommend. 5 Stars!

Over 2 weeks ago I had MSP Plumbing come to our house for a leaky sink faucet. I was out of town for work so my mother came to the house to let the Plummer in. Sink and bath tub drain repair went off without problems. While putting things back together things went sideways and the master water line was turned back on and a substantial amount of water leaked under our kitchen sink through and below the cabinets and across the kitchen floor. Water main is in our basem*nt and both water lines under the sink were freely flowing for whatever amount of time between being turned on, discovered/warned and turned off. I came home late that evening to box fans and open cabinets. By the next morning the floor was squishy and I had water in my basem*nt. When I called customer service to tell them what had happened they seemed disinterested, and offered no direct assistance or follow up. I had a company come to inspect the floor and cabinets. They immediately recommended commercial fans and dehumidifiers. During inspection they were able to advise me that the water likely leaked under the cabinets and below the flooring and had run below or on the subfloor. This eventually made its way through some screw holes and dripped through the ceiling to the finished basem*nt. When I called MSP a second time, but this time with specific damage to share, they wanted to send “their company on retainer”. I explained we had a different company handling the problem at this point. I was given the Plummer managers info “Morgan”. Two weeks later I still have commercial dehumidifiers and fans running in my house 24/7. I have not heard from the technician, or Morgan the plumbing manager since the day after any of it happened. I have called several times, left messages and heard nothing from anyone. The mitigation company reached out, my Insurance agent has reached out, and nobody has responded in any way. I can only imagine at this point they intend to abandon the problem and leave me to figure it out or take legal action. What likely started as an honest mistake has turned into negligence in the highest magnitude. I could not be more disappointed in the lack of follow up, professionalism, and respect for my home and my family. I was billed, and paid before I even came home to this mess. There was no mention of the accident as I gave my credit card info over the phone. I do not take lightly the seriousness of a bad review and had withheld commenting as I assumed some kind of mediation or effort to help the situation would be made. If you choose to do business with a company that handles its mistakes like this: be forewarned. I wish I had been.

The people in the office were helpful and friendly and provided timely updates about when we could expect our technician.Kevin was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He quickly assessed the problem, explained the solution, provided an estimate, and did the necessary work to replace a pipe in our bathroom sink.This is our first experience with MSP and we will be staying with them!

I have used MSP Plumbing Heating Air for 10 years now. Today I had my annual furnace tune up and the technician was at my house promptly, did a thorough inspection and explained his results to me and his recommendations. I will have my A/C and water heater tune ups in a few months. I had MSP install a new tankless hot water heater 3 years ago and it's been great. I pay a small fee each month so my annual tune ups are included and I have priority response if I need something else done. I also get 10% off when I need a new appliance - like my tankless hot water heater. I have been very pleased throughout the years with their service and staff.

The technician Drew is professional and informative. This company is genuine. Not like the scam company like Service Today..

Bo is professional, honest, and hasn't lead me wrong. He gives me all the options for repairs & gets the job done. It's good to know there are still folks out there that put pride in their work and don't pull any shady business to pad the bill. 100% recommend!

Our furnace died around 6 years ago in the middle of January, when it was negative temps everyday. These guys were absolute pros, and came super quick, provided space heaters, and had the new furnace up and running in no time. On top of that, they’ve always been great about maintenance and even free tune-ups! Every single person I’ve met is fantastic, friendly, and great at what they do. 11/10 would recommend!

Nick was able to come over the same day, did a quick evaluation, let me know all of my options for repairs versus installing a new toilet. This toilet was very old so I preferred to have it replaced. Evidently my home is rather difficult....I am having a 4 stage system installed....Clint S. Showed up exactly on time and introduced himself and walked through my house to review where the vents would be placed and to check to be sure that the space for the hanging units was properly prepared. Shortly after that, his team arrived and equipment arrived. His team consisted of Jefferson H., Nick S., and Josh D., each of them had their own specialty. As they worked I always felt I could ask questions, I was involved in decision making and I was always respected, as I hope I respected these young men. They were extremely professional and were problem solvers. I had a few hiccups and they were laid out in front of me...surprises, you just have to roll with them, so the project did not get completed today, even though they worked until 8:45 pm!!! I hope that this team will be sent back to finish the project....It is important to me, that I feel confident in the folks who work at my home, as I said before, they were respectful and used good language and I felt safe with them around, that’s a biggy. They were skilled and honest...... I highly recommend this team! Thanks.

What a great experience. We were getting ridiculous quotes from different vendors when our boiler went out. The company that came and turned our heat off and tagged it gave us a price that felt like we were being taken advantage of. From the moment MSP Plumbings salesman Nick came over, we have felt the experience has been perfect. The work is quality and the price was better than four other companies we received quotes from. We were ready to start the work as it was cold out and they started the very next day. The plumbers showed up on time and completed the work in the time they stated. Really great experience, so much that I never write reviews....ever..... and I felt the need to do it for them.

I've been utilizing MSP for many years now. They take good care of me and my needs for all heating and ac. They are honest and professional. Bo was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and willing to answer any questions I had related to my water heater issue. They were extremely fast squeezing me in! I felt very at ease, being a first time homeowner! VERY impressed! Would definitely recommend!

Technician arrived right on time and was extremely efficient in diagnosing and correcting the problems we were having. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the equipment and how to fix the issues. Tech gave us several options for payment and had a great attitude during the visit. Highly recommended.

Tech was helpful but the part was offered at $400 for an igniter that cost $44 in town and $24 online. It took me 10 minutes to replace myself.

They were able to schedule someone next day, gave me quotes for three price points, got the parts needed for the plumbing in our old house and fixed it in less than 48 hours! Nice work!

I had them out so I could have them change out a fill valve and a flapper on two toilets. They wanted to charge me $546 each for a total of $1092. Are they insane? I would never hire or have this company out again. Absolutely ludicrous! The most insane thing I’ve ever heard of.

Jeff was friendly and courteous. He arrived on time. Up front he gave me all the possible scenarios related to the performance of the furnace and air conditioner given the age of the units. He walked me through each step of the check up, took pictures, and was clear with his explanation and his evaluation. Ultimately it was determined that the furnace needed to be replaced but the air conditioner was working satisfactorily. Jeff arranged for an advisor to come out and discuss options for replacement.I was very satisfied with this visit!!!

Thomas from MSP came out on the hottest day of the year, literally! We had just received a new deck and needed to change the gas line for our grill. I gave him the option of coming back because of the extreme heat. He decided he would stay since he was already there and did a great job, including making sure that nothing was damaged on our house when brazing a new gas line together. The call back times were great. However they came out told us we needed a new furnace, charged us $220 & left us astronomical furnace quotes of $14k and higher. We had 2 additional people come and look at our furnace and told us it was fine, just needs to be cleaned. After talking to a neighbor she said they told her the same thing. Good thing I went and got other opinions! Will never give this company our business again what a RIP off!

There is so much to like about MSP! The plumber (Nick) was scheduled to arrive between 8-10AM. I received a call at 7:27AM saying that Nick was on his way. At 8AM Nick was walking into our condo lobby with mask on. When Nick walked into our unit he put on shoe covers. He was done completing what I had started within 45 minutes. I've used these guys for years. They always come out on time. We recently had our furnace and water heater annual service. They are experienced, thorough and friendly. They looked over all the heating and plumbing systems, recommending possible upgrades and identifying necessary repairs. They are honest in helping you assess in urgency and need. I do think their prices are high, but their quality and workmanship is unquestionable.

Nick G was very professional in his inspection of our water heater and water softner. Explained what he was doing, completed his work quickly and efficiently. Gave a complete report on the system operations and asked if we had any questions. He was very respectful of our home, including the protective booties on his shoes.

Such an amazing experience! Timely, friendly and so incredible to work with in our time of need. They helped us pick the right unit for our house and needs, along with helping ensure that our rebate was filed properly. MSP installed a ductless split in our large old house, and they did a *fantastic* job. MSP came up with more creative solutions than the other companies we spoke with. The installation was flawless - they were on time, professional, neat/tidy, and were so considerate when our toddler wanted to watch them work. Our system works beautifully. This was an expensive job but it was the best money we ever spent on our house. I recommend MSP without reservation.

We called after finding a gas leak in our furnace. Thomas arrived within the quoted window and gave me a few options on services. He repaired the leak and tightened the joints. While doing so, he pointed out what and where he was doing the work, as well as some tips for future preventative maintenance. Great customer service both on the phone and the service expert himself. The service guy, Jason, was very polite while doing a maintenance check on my water heater. He took one look at my heater and warned me about a recalled part, clearly knew what he was doing. Was not intrusive at all as I work from home.

Crazy high price. I needed a water heater installation and was quoted $1428.00!! I said no thanks and called Artistic Plumbing. They came out that same afternoon and did the install. Total cost $518.22.

I have a subscription service with MSP where they annually review my furnace, water heater and AC. Today was the AC and it checked out AOK! I'm really glad I have this service to make sure the systems me and my wife depend on are in good shape: Thanks a lot MSP!!!

Our furnace stopped working for the 2nd time since Xmas day. I called MSP and Alex came out same day to discuss purchase of new furnace. Very happy with presentation of options. There happened to be an opening available the next day so the entire thing was taken care of in 2 days. Josh and Andy came to do install. Very personable, went over everything I need to know regarding various features and told me to call if I need any further help. They were very careful to make sure the carpeting was protected. Would give my experience from beginning to end an A+.

Booking was a piece of cake with flexible times. Customer service reps are friendly. Typically, for other companies, time slots are a 4 hour time period making it difficult to plan around - MSP offers a 2 hour time slot. Zach with MSP was awesome and very informative. He gave advice for other household questions I had beyond his assigned task. No brainer to sign up for a maintenance plan.

This business thinks its employees are above following traffic laws as this van is blocking an entire bike lane by parking in a spot too small and forcing cyclists into vehicular traffic. Taken 10/29 @ 12:31pm. Do not choose a business that lets its employees get away with this behavior endangering people.

The boiler for my in-floor heating system wasn’t working on a sub-zero winter day. Braeden from MSP arrived within 90 minutes of my call and quickly diagnosed the issue. He needed to purchase a part, but returned quickly and had the repair completed 20 minutes after that.While working on the boiler, he noticed some dripping from piping related to my water heater and he adjusted some valves to rectify that. Finally, he gave me a helpful (and clever) recommendation to cheaply improve a chronic issue due to the way the original HVAC installer configured various intake and exhaust ports on an exterior wall of my house. And there was no charge beyond the boiler repair!Braeden was professional, courteous, clearly very competent and conscientious. As usual with MSP, I’m very satisfied with the work & will continue to use them for all my HVAC & plumbing needs.

MSP is always easy to work with: from scheduling to meeting with the technicians. We had Braeden today and he did a furnace check-up and helped fixed a leaking issue at my mother in laws house. He was knowledgeable and made recommendations that were not pushy, which I greatly appreciate! On time and professional, every time!

Nick came today to take care of some clogged pipes. He had to replace some sections of pipe to get rid of the clogs. I was very satisfied with the job he did today.

Joe was dispatched quickly (on a cold December) Saturday and diagnosed our non-functional furnace. Needed a new one -he explained exactly why: no sales pitch, showed me and took pics. They took care of me with space heaters until Monday when the new furnace was installed, warm by 4pm. Thanks Joe, Max and crew.

I've used this company for the last few years for various reasons. They send well qualified and well trained individuals to do the repairs and maintenance as required, for me. I have a monthly fee that I pay for those services which are less expensive than the utility companies offer.

Worked with Ken H on my annual maintenance on my home furnace. He arrived on his scheduled time, not even a minute late. He was very professional in dealing with the client and had respect for the environment. He explained what his purpose was there for, and made me aware of what he was about to do. Having managed hundreds of people in large organizations, I found him providing one of the best customer service experience I have ever had with service calls. I have used MSP for many things. Last summer our AC went out and they were able to send over someone almost immediately after I called them. Had the system fixed in no time and we had air again. Will show you exactly what's the issue and what needs to be done to fix it...Most recently I've had MSP out for a bathroom remodel. Very professional during the whole time. Dan was awesome, very professional, explained everything very well. Regardless of the setbacks we had that were completely out of his control, he was very positive and came back out every time we needed him. I'm very happy with his work. I will probably request him for the next bathroom remodel and the needed plumbing work for a sprinkler system if he's still there.

I called MSP Plumbing, Heating and Air after another HVAC company did not respond to my request for a furnace and AC tune up. I would highly recommend Mpls St Paul Plumbing and Heating. I needed work done on a Bradford White heating system and I found it hard to find someone knowledgeable with this system. They were attentive to not only make sure to schedule the right technician for the job they kept me informed on timing of the service throughout the day. Tom, was fantastic! Answered my questions, sorted out the issue and serviced the unit without me having to make additional appointments. He never tried to sell or service more than what was needed, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend this company and would continue to use them in the future.

These people are terrible neighbors. My wife and I had to move because they and the scrap metal trucks they enable are constantly throwing junk and pallets around and idling their engines at all hours with no regard for their community even before noise is supposed to begin in the morning at 7am.

He was on-time, personable, helpful, efficient, and skilled. He took the time to explain everything well. We were very happy with the service we received.

I was initially pleased with the scheduling process and the technician. They had notified us we have a leak and refilled our refrigerant. Our cooling capacity was noticeably better for only a few days, but then got significantly worse. I then found our AC unit is under warranty from being installed with another company. I had a technician from that company come over to take a look at it a month later. He notified us that the refrigerant caps were not put back on, and they had been sitting on the ledge next to our unit. He notified us this had quickened the leaking of our refrigerant and we would need to have it filled again. We paid over $500 to have our refrigerant filled initially and then ended up having to pay more only a month later to have it filled again. I called MSP the same day, hoping to mainly inform them this happened and possibly receive some money back as well. The woman I had spoke with said she would notify the dispatch team and someone would call me the next day. That was on Thursday and it is now Monday night. I had at the very least hoped for an explanation or apology and I’m disappointed that did not happen.

Thomas was extremely thorough, professional, and accommodating on his visit to my house. I had him out to flush my water heater and what I believed to be an issue with a repair from a few years ago. He quickly spotted the root cause (different than I expected), and provided me with several options for getting it taken care of. He went above and beyond by also fixing my original concern. I also decided to buy a water softener while he was here today, and he was able to get all of the repairs and installation complete in under 3 hours. To top it off, I threw a last-minute question about a wholly unrelated plumbing issue at him, and he was quickly able to explain what would be involved in the repair. Throughout his visit, Thomas cheerfully answered my questions, took care to keep my house clean, and worked quickly. I'm thoroughly impressed with the service and attention I received today.

Would have been 4 stars but they fixed their mistakes so I'm happy! I had a new home Carrier furnace put in and garage heater installed and vented. This was done in Dec of 2018. The main regulator was verbally said to be replaced on the home furnace but not written in the contract. one year later when they came out for the free 1yr inspection they detected a leak in the regulator. I asked them to replace it at their cost and they did, I wasn't expecting that since I had no paper proof of that being part of the deal. I also had an independent roofer tell me the flashing and venting for the garage heater was not caulked/sealed or fastened to the roof, MSP also fixed that at the same time. Overall I'm happy with the price I paid and I'm happy that they upheld their verbal contract. I spend my time interviewing 9 companies to do the work and MSP was by far the one I felt the most confident in. Knowing that they stand by their work is refreshing.

Our technician, Zachh, was very nice and friendly. He explained things and gave me options. I really liked him and hope he’s always my service gentleman. I can’t say enough good things about MSP. Their service plan is worth getting if you don’t have it.

MSP Plumbing repaired the faulty plumbing that was installed a different plumbing service. Thomas diagnosed an cleaned up the crossword puzzle that was left by the previous plumbing service. I am very happy with how efficient the process was for the installation of my new water softener system.

I had a mixed experience with a plumbing service. In total, I got the work done at a great price. However, getting there was more of hassle than it should have been.* Late the first day, then discounted my diagnosis, leaving without doing any work* Came back out, waiving the second visit fee of course, after my diagnosis was confirmed* When making the final payment, they weren't going to fully honor their coupon because it brought the price too low.So again, in the end the work done at a great price. However, I'd still try another company in the area for my next job, as my time is worth something, too.

The problem was not obvious and something the tech had not seen before, but he did the diagnosis needed, and picked up the parts that afternoon and got it running well again!!

We had two gas leaks in our pipes in the basem*nt that Xcel Energy found. They shut off our gas so we felt urgent in finding someone to help and didn’t know what we were in for. After two companies didn’t want to take on the liability of fixing our gas pipes, Peter from MSP showed up quickly and inspected everything, worked out a plan, walked us through it and talked through worst case scenario so we understood. He scheduled a return at 8 the next morning to start work. He showed up on time, started work and got done a little earlier than we anticipated. He was able to dodge worst case scenario saving us thousands and he thoroughly tested the gas pressure and made sure there were no leaks. He also walked us through pricing and their care plan. I recommend Peter and MSP for repair work you can feel good about.

Our tech was great for our AC checkup. I expressed some concerns I had about my partner's asthma and allergies, and he quickly provided some options that we could invest in that would help. MSP is great. We had to replace the boilers and hot water heaters in our building during the winter. Nick Bender explained all the different options we could go with. Josh Beecher and the rest of the install team got a huge job done in one day. We had a smallIssue recently but MSP was very responsive. Almost every time they came to perform routine maintenance, salesman tried to upsell me on expensive, un-needed equipment. The last time he lied outright about unnecessary equipment which was not at all applicable to my house. Stay away from these gold diggers.

From start to finish (1 week), we had Nick come give us an estimate for a new furnace and AC. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The installation happened effortlessly. All the installers were on time, friendly and respectful. We are very happy with our experience!

Bo was 👍 He diagnosed that our water heater gas valve had gone bad and it being a Saturday not easy to get the part. So he went and got it himself. Came back and installed it. We have water that is the correct temperature again! Even checked with us the next day that all to make sure everything was okay. Being that we are senior citizens, that is very much appreciated.

Dan did an excellent job with the maintenance on our furnace. He discovered a failing flame sensor and replaced it before it failed and shut our furnace down.MSP is Highly recommended.

This company does it all very well! I worked with them a few months ago to fix a leak from our secondary furnace, a problem that other companies wouldn't even touch. They came up with a simple and affordable solution and implemented it the next day. Recently, I just got bids to replace our main floor furnace and air conditioner, and MSP had the best prices, the best service, and the most rapid installation schedule (2 days after we accepted the bid). I would 100% recommend MSP to anyone with plumbing/heating/cooling needs.

Our A/C stopped working and Drew came quickly the day I called! He was able to fix the issue and provide tips of other things that would need to be fixed soon but not yet. I never felt pressured to fix anything else but figured he was there so why not. He fixed everything needed and was gone in less then an hour. So friendly, kind and easy to work with!

Dieter and Eric were out to replace about half of the galvanized water pipes in our house. They were quick, professional, and spot on with their estimate. They left everything clean and ready to go. MSP came out to actually fix my air conditioner after another service provider said they fixed it but actually hadn't. Tony was extremely communicative of what was wrong, what was needed to fix it - kept me updated as he was out purchasing the part to make the repair. He even showed me pictures of the before and after of the changes he made to the unit in our attic. He walked me through all the details in a way I understood what had happened. He cleaned up after he was done. Overall, I'm highly impressed with the quality and results from MSP. They'll now be my first phone call for future needs!

Technician called and identified himself, showed on time, did a thorough investigation of the leaking water (there were no leeks by the time he showed up). He didn't find the problem, but suggested my options for dealing with a possible leak). If the water didn't stop leaking by itself (unexpectedly), it could've flooded my apartment as well as Apts below me.

The service technician Drew is one of the very few HVAC techs out there that cares and have suggestions for the customer. He listed my options and was very helpful. MSP is unlike other HVAC service out there they are not all about pushing to sell you a new furnace. They advise and let you know your options. Our water heater had a major leak and needed to be replaced. They came out to our home within an hour or two after we called them and ordered a new water heater. It didn’t take long to install and later that day we had a new water heater up and running. We are very satisfied with their responsiveness and service.

Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend MSP.******I had a central AC unit that was put in by my contractor shortly after the home was built 18 years ago and it never kept up with summer. I decided to replace it and since the whole system was over 18 years old I elected to replace the furnace as well. I had multiple HVAC companies come out. MSP was the last one and I felt they set themselves apart from their competition.From first contact through the sales process and install, their communication was excellent. Whether it was by phone, email or chat (on their website), there was never an issue reaching them. My sales guy did a great job answering my questions and concerns. I knew enough about HVAC to be dangerous and he was very patient through it all. Their price was competitive and they conveyed a level of confidence that helped me make my decision. The install team did a great job. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. One of the techs stopped by a week after the install (per my request) to answer some questions I had. Overall I’m very happy with the system which included a high efficiency gas furnace, central air unit, whole house humidifier and air exchanger. It works great. We had a gas leak that impacted our Water Heater. We're new homeowners so I had a lot of Questions for Dan and he was both knowledgeable and approachable. I learned a ton from him and he diagnosed our issue, explained it in plain language, and was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Gas flex line to dryer was leaking. Dan installed an isolation valve and replaced the flex line. Looks much better now than it did before and isn’t leaking gas any more. Very happy with the work that was done and MSP Plumbing.

We got a new furnace last January 2019. They installed the new one and did not change the exhaust pipes. Condensed water froze and shut the furnace down. They cleaned it and left. Next night the same thing. Then they installed new pipes to fix the issue. The old pipes were in the wrong angle so the condensed water build up. When we had the inspection the inspector found a plug missing. This caused condensed exhaust to drip into the furnace and cause corrosion. They put a new plug in and said we will receive a response to amend this manufacturer or installation mistake. Never heard back. I Call every month once or twice since and described what happened and that I am waiting for a response since October. They never patch me through to anybody that can help me. Always say I will receive a call back. And I never received a call back for 5 months now. Honestly I am surprised that they dont even bother to just call me. Highly frustrating

Our water heater stopped working, and Bo was so great. He fixed the problem, and took the time to educate us, and make sure we are set up for success. I chose MSP because I knew from my previous job that they're honest and good, but Bo exceeded my expectations.

Job was done quickly and efficiently. We had to run a new thermostat wire and connect to the existing. Also my boiler system had to be re-filled and bled - the cast irons due to a cracked radiator needing to be replaced

This company was at my home many months ago and I paid my bill in full. I’m overseas now until mid March and cannot contact them. Now months later my bank statement indicates they took out $8.25 out of my account on 1-9-2023 without my approval or authorization. Tom was amazing. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and prompt. I needed a water heater replaced and a few feet of extremely corroded galvanized pipe removed and he got it all done within a few hours, and MSP's price was about $2000 less than the other quote I got (seriously!). He was also very patient with my cat, who yelled at him quite a bit.A few days after the water heater was replaced, the water pressure in the shower dropped. I tried to do a CLR treatment and flush the showerhead but it didn't work, so I called MSP and they sent someone out and I was happy it was Tom! He fixed the problem in about 10 minutes flat.

Thomas R. came in today to service our water heater. He identified fluctuating temperatures due to a faulty mixing valve. Finished service replacing valve system to restore proper temperatures. Grat job Thomas!

MSP promptly returned my call when our furnace was not working properly in sub-zero temps, this was during New Year's weekend. They scheduled us with a two hour time frame, called me in advance when the technician was actually ahead of schedule. Nice surprise! Jason B was our technician, he was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He gave us options, we chose to have him clean the flame sensor, which was the least expensive option, this solved our furnace issue for the time being. I appreciated Jason's honesty and would recommend friends and family to MSP Plumbing and Heating. Thank you. (Not all companies will commit to a window of time, they just tell you they'll call you when they can fit you in on a certain day, and they charge more for weekend emergency service.)

I recently had MSP Plumbing Heating Air install a whole house water filter because my wife opened her water bottle filled with water from our kitchen faucet and it wreaked like chlorine. The day before the appointment, the company called and confirmed that the scheduled time - 8:00 am - still worked for us. The company rep was very friendly and courteous. Jeremy arrived promptly at 8am as scheduled. I showed him my utility room where we discussed the strategy for optimizing the benefits of the filter. He also explained in detail to me, and then again to my wife, the various water sources in our house - bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry - and whether those sources were hooked up to hard or soft water, and provided an analysis of both. He was very knowledgeable, and provided the information necessary for us to make an informed decision. Since he was here, I also asked him to take a look at my plumbing systems just to double-check that everything was set-up correctly (we didn't build the house). After a few minutes Jeremy came upstairs and told me my humidifier and boiler were hooked up in a way that is not recommended and reduces the life of the products. I asked if he could fix it, and he said he would be able to very easily since he had to plumb the filter in. A while later he came up and said it was installed and everything had been take care of. He brought me to the utility room and explained what he had done and provided a detailed explanation of how the water filter works to ensure that I was comfortable with everything. He also gave me his business card and told me to call him if I had any questions.I would highly recommend MSP Plumbing Heating Air and will be using them for any future Plumbing and Heating needs. Thomas from MSP was a great help! He was very kind and professional while helping our family install a new gas valve. He’s got great knowledge of the processes and importance of each step he took. I did my due-diligence and got 3 estimates for a “split” ac unit for an addition that just didn’t cool/heat comfortably. MSP was the ONLY one who affirmed that there was indeed duct work to the room (we and the other 2 companies wrongly assumed it was defunct baseboard heating), and rather than spending $6000+ for the new ac split unit, MSP gave us some simple steps to hopefully rectify the problem. (Run the furnace fan constantly, keep interior doors open and get our ducts cleaned!). Should those steps fail, we will definitely use MSP to further explore options. They were by far the most knowledgeable company we had out, and I have no hesitation in using or recommending them.

Jason came out on short notice to fix a faulty AC unit. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and in no time he diagnosed the issue. He then patiently and clearly explained the issue and my options before he set to work and quickly replaced the necessary parts to get the AC back on. Many technicians will just do what they need to do to get through a job without wanting to explain anything, but Jason took the time to make sure I understood what he was doing and why. Overall, it was excellent service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This company was great! They came quickly and worked so efficiently. No one was in the business of over charging us, but instead advised us for the best options for us - even if that meant they were suggesting a different option. They were able to look at our furnace and schedule a same day furnace put in. We loved our estimator, Ken, and our installation expert, Adam. They both served us so well.

Jake was great- professional, punctual, and his first option was to try to save us money by checking on a warranty, even though it was through a competitor. He got our A/C back on its feet in the midst of a heatwave. I’d go back to MSP in a heartbeat, and I’ll be asking for Jake again!

We had a small leak, but in a difficult spot to fix. Nick did a great job discussing what he needed to do and was up front about the pricing. He finished quickly and was very professional. Plumbing is never cheap but Nick did a great job that was done right!

I was out of town and had a heating emergency. I didn't know if it was my furnace or thermostat, but my heat wasn't working properly and my house had cooled off dramatically. I called MSP and first off they were VERY kind and helpful to someone who was very concerned and emotional about the problem. They helped me be calm and didn't mind that I was stressed out. Very comforting. Secondly they were able to get a tech to my house within two hours during a MN winter right before the new year, exceptional! And thirdly the technician Matt went above and beyond to help me and fix the problem. He was able to do it quickly and at a minimum cost. His service was exemplary. I can't say that enough. Took advantage of MSP fall water heater and furnace tune up. Learned from Peter that water heater was too old to risk tune up. Appreciated his years of experience, expertise and advice.

Nick came out to our house to install a connection for our natural gas grill. He was such a trooper as it was about 15 degrees and he had to work with some small parts. He got the grill working and was very professional and helpful!

I had a ductless, 4 zone mini-split air conditioner installed in my older home with radiator heat. The installers were absolutely fabulous and answered every question I had. The work performed looks spectacular, and I've already had complements on the work. While it wasn't the cheapest install, MSP was quick to respond, and installed about a week after the contracts were signed. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

I am new to MSP comfort care program. Today Dan came to my home for a routine inspection of the water heater and plumbing in general. He flushed out the water heater and inspected the old pipes and detected several small, slow leaks. He showed me all of the problem areas, explained what was wrong and how it can be repaired. I wasn't aware of the problem until he pointed it out and saw for myself that indeed there are slow leaks. Even though I'd been in the location of the leaks fairly regularly I never noticed them. Glad he caught it early before the floodgates opened.Had a crisis when ac stopped working. Called MSP and Tony came out lto fix it the next morning! Thought I would have to wait days, Happy I didn't have to wait it out in this heat!

Peter was amazing to work with on the installation of our new water heater. He was very straight forward about how our old water heater could not be repaired and what the options were for replacement. Also, just an overall terrific guy!

I found MSP technician Peter to be pleasant and very Informative; he showed me the current condition of both the anode and the relief valve of the water heater and estimated that they would have about two years of life left before needing replacing. I especially appreciated his testing of the water in the kitchen, confirming that we did not have softened water running to the kitchen faucet, of which I was previously uncertain.

I was impressed with their annual furnace tune-up service. They checked the wiring, checked combustion efficiency, and tested for leaks. The service person was professional, and gave me good feedback on our old unit.

Technician was was very helpful. MSP does significant up-charging and it seems all their technicians are strongly encouraged to do this when quoting services. A free service turned into a $4000 quote with what seemed to be unnecessary items. When we had a water heater installed two years ago, a smaller plumber did it for a quarter of the price. They tried to price match after we got a second quote. Feel free to push them on the pricing.

Chris did an excellent job of yearly HVAC maintenance, fan cleaning, capacitor replacement and installation of a new Pristine Air cleaning system. He was professional, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. We will definitely call him again.

Today, Jesse, performed annual service on our air conditioning unit. Not only did he inspect the unit and clean it, he explained what we can regularly do at home to keep it running well. Excellent work; clean, fast, and our faucet has never worked better! The diverter in our tub was leaking and we attempted to do a diy repair only to discover rotted 70 year old pipes. More than we could manage. This was replaced swiftly and expertly. I will definitely use MSP again!

I've used MSP for a number of years and always had positive experiences with the quality of service, their responsiveness to my needs and the helpfulness of their knowledgeable service persons. My most recent experience with Beau was really excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, was very patient and thorough in indentifying the issue, laid out repair options for me, and provided good advice. Beau also seems like a really nice guy who was genuinely interested in finding the best solution overall.

Dishonest. Unfortunately, not knowing any better, we have used them for years and subscribed to their Total Comfort Club. Our house is less than seven years old and we have never had a single furnace or A/C tune up appointment where an issue wasn't found or they didn’t recommended expensive upgrades. Their technicians are more adept at sales than actual maintenance. After their latest tune-up, they said our furnace would need approximately $1800 in repairs. The technician stated he could hear oil dripping from the blower motor while the unit was running. Huh? We detected no audible sound and there are no traces of leaking oil.He also recommended that the flame sensor be replaced at $500 for a $20 part that anyone can replace in 5 minutes. And finally, to clean the blower scroll fan because it was dirty ($250). Something they just did less than two years ago. I opened the furnace and it is nearly spotless.I would have assumed that the flame sensor is cleaned during preventative maintenance, well it isn't by MSP. This is the most common cause for furnaces to stop working. They wait until your furnace stops working in the middle of winter and then charge extra for an emergency service call to replace it at an exorbitant price.Anyway, we finally decided to get a second opinion and as I suspected, these urgent repairs either didn't exist or weren't immediately needed.There is always a high-pressure sales pitch at the end of every appointment and some critical fix is always recommended to place fear and urgency in the customer.There are too many other honest companies, that value your business and trust, than to work with MSP.

Would recommend! Thomas installed a carbon system for chlorine abatement. We have high chlorine in our city water, and have used pitcher filters for drinking water. After the carbon system install, the water right from the tap tastes better and smells better.

Jason Duffy was the plumber who came to do a maintenance check on my water heater. This is the second time he has been here to do this. I was glad to see him again as he is a polite and fun person as well as a very skilled and savvy plumber. Jason found some concerning issues with my water heater and patiently and clearly explained them and discussed various solutions to them. He made a call to a colleague and to the utility department in the city I live in for information relevant to the situation. Jason then wrote up my options with no pressure on me. First on Monday Nick came out to remove a gas line and we talked about their total comfort club, I signed up. the TWO DAYS LATER my tenants AC went out and Brandon came out and got us up and running so quickly and painlessly. Our boiler wasn't kicking in. Jeff from MSP identified the damper motor had malfunctioned. He gave us a couple options for MSP, but suggested we call the company who installed boiler 5 years ago to see if covered by warranty. Parts and labor were covered by warranty and previous company replaced it. By suggesting we check warranty with MSP competitor, Jeff saved us $800 and got the heat back on within a couple hours of our call. Hard to beat that integrity.

Dan understood the plumbing issue and knew exactly what to do to make the repair. Very happy with the service and will use them again.

Dan did a fantastic job. Not only did he fix and replace the leaking drain on our cast iron tub, but he noticed that the last person who tried to work on it did a poor job. He couldn't let their sub-standard with stand and replaced additional piping at no extra cost. I don't know about the company, but I would definitely recommend Dan Willert!

Technician arrived right on time. He sat down first to learn about our concerns and history with your furnace and a/c which I have never encountered with another company and it was very nice. He was extremely thorough in analyzing our system and not in a hurry like most other companies. Before he left he had some suggestions which seemed appropriate but I will likely wait until spring as most involve our a/c unit. He did mention something to watch for with our furnace which I thought was good. He was not high pressure at all. One of the best technicians I've ever had and think we'll call on Doug again to service our equipment!!

Fast and professional. Everyone I spoke with from the answering service at 1am to the dispatcher at 7am to the guy that fixed our boiler were easy to deal with. He told me exactly what the problem was and exactly what it was going to cost. I will definitely call them again if I need to!

Tom Miller is extremely professional, he does a fantastic job of communicating and is very thorough with his quotes. We work with MSP on a regular basis as they are higher level professionals and very good at what they do!

I said to my husband that I love being a customer of MSP. The last two times I called, I had issues repaired the same day. One was a clogged drain. The other was today with an AC unit not working. With the AC unit, we are on the maintenance plan, so no charge. WhaaaT?! Amazing. Could not be happier. Highly recommend

As usual, tech's are cordial/professional/timely, but costs are out of bounds for anybody on s.s.....$370 to replace a 4' length of dryer duct?

MSP came over to fix our AC that just went down last week. We were scheduled to have it looked atbut we needed it done immediately due to our child having very bad allergies and asthma, the sent out Technician Tim Harris the very next day. Tim had our AC up and running quickly and professionally. He saved the day. My kid can now sleep comfortably tonight. Thanks again! Tim

Have had great service with MSP. Tony is my go to guy. Always professional, wears a mask in my home, very knowledgeable, explains/educates/shows me exactly what’s going on and best practice to fix the problem. AND he’s a nice guy who I feel very comfortable having in my home.
