The Beavers will carry at 6-4 lead into the matchup, which is scheduled to begin at 12:06 p.m. with Anteaters catcher Thomas McCaffrey on first base with no outs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The game began Sunday night, but was suspended after one hour, 45 minutes because of rainy conditions. Before play was stopped, the Beavers built a two-run lead, thanks in large part to a three-run home run from shortstop Elijah Hainline.

No. 1 seed Oregon State is 2-0 in the four-team, double-elimination tournament, and enters today’s play needing one win to advance to the super regionals. No. 2 seed UC Irvine, which suffered a 5-3 loss to the Beavers in a winners’ bracket game on Saturday, needs two wins to advance.

If the Anteaters come back to beat OSU this afternoon, the teams would meet again 55 minutes after the final pitch in a winner-take-all finale. The winner of the Corvallis Regional will play the Kentucky Wildcats in a super regional matchup in Lexington, Kentucky.
