The brand is an homage to hergreat-grandfather Davis Hogue, who worked as a farmer and moonshiner in the American South, and follows a trend of famous figures adding the 21 and up indulgence to their armory of sellable items.
According to a report published by LEADERS in May 2023, in 2018, there were fewer than 40 celebrity-affiliated alcohol brands. However, by the aforementioned deadline, more than 350 brands backed by famous names were in existence. The outlet also noted that the global alcohol market is expected to surpass $2.2 trillion by 2025.
