I am grateful every day that I attend this excellent university in a beautiful major city in Southern California. As an international graduate student, I am involved in so much groundbreaking research that I wouldn’t get anywhere else. I love all the resources they have on campus—it shows they truly care about their students. The campus itself is always vibrant and bustling. The housing is clean and safe, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area and Riverside in general!

Attending the University of California, Riverside was an enriching experience. I appreciated the diverse and inclusive community, which made the campus feel welcoming and vibrant. The faculty were approachable and genuinely invested in student success, and the research opportunities were plentiful, allowing me to explore my academic interests deeply. The campus itself was beautiful, with plenty of green spaces to relax and study.
However, I felt that the administrative processes could be more streamlined, particularly in areas like financial aid and course registration, which sometimes felt cumbersome. Additionally, while the campus is growing, I think more investment in student housing and transportation options would significantly enhance the overall experience. Overall, UCR provided a solid foundation for both my academic and personal growth, and I'm grateful for my time there.

I've only been a transfer student at UCR for a short time, but I already know that I made the perfect decision. I've visited the school multiple times and attended a full-day orientation, and each time I've felt supported and welcomed. Students, instructors, and staff are all friendly and really helpful, and the atmosphere is calm. I'm most grateful for UCR's robust support network. As I settle in, I find it immensely comforting that there are a lot of services accessible to assist kids excel academically and prepare for their professions.
While my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, I think UCR could offer more tailored guidance for transfer students to help us acclimate more quickly.
Overall, I’m very pleased with my decision to transfer to UCR. The supportive environment, kind people, and abundant resources make it a great place to continue my education and work toward my future goals.
